A truly important (and obvious, even banal) point that really can’t be stressed enough: sometimes majorities get things really really wrong!

You only miss what you no longer have.
Or like electing criminals to stop crime?
Or voting for crooked billionaires to drain the swamp?
For Trump to get around 70 million-ish votes like the last time is one thing (sad, but these fuckers are so rabid), but seeing voters not even give her an 80+ million count like last time is insane.
Like, the fuck?
Are people seriously THIS pressed about immigrants & trans folk that they’ll basically kill themselves socially/politically just to say “you’re suffering, I’m not 😜😋🖕”?
What made pre-2016 the exception, here? I don’t get it.
They have universal healthcare, good schools and more, why the fuck would you look at us, not learn anything and then vote for dipshits willing to destroy said privileges?
All the hype between August-November and pleas to “Vote Vote Vote” feel so fucking pointless when everyone else just sat their fucking ass at home.
A message still not truly being heard by “liberal” parties
The Little Englanders who voted Leave dutifully lined up for every godawful Tory government afterward, except the one that nominated a non-Little Englander.
What happened after that was complex. "The Tories" split into remainers and those who "respected the vote". 1/2
"But we only wanted to own the libs! We didn't think he'd really do all the things he said he would!"
They crossed the line and simply lied. Continuously.
Eventually, some portion of those who were duped realize this and switch sides. It always happens.
Unfortunately, too many who were duped will continue to be fooled and will blame the problems on people who are different from them.
Amazing as it may sound, America even gets it wrong sometimes.
Like is the concept even in the political discourse over there?
However will Congress break their oaths and let an insurrectionist be sworn in?
Wait until MAGA sees food and cars and appliances get more expensive.
Wait until MAGA loses their Obamacare.
Wait until MAGA discovers massiv FEMA cutbacks during a hurricane.
Wait until MAGA goes to use Medicaid.
Wait until MAGA needs an abortion.
Problem here is that we too are locked in a cage with the fucking leopards. Hard to enjoy the face eating when you're also being feasted on.

Schadenfreude sucks but it’s almost all we have left?
Romania made the best decision.
Brexit won for a reason. The British wanted to be Great again, not just a province ruled by anonymous boffins in Brussels and other nothing places.
This was the prototype attack, on which Russia based it's social media attack that installed tRump the first time.

(a.k.a. I told you so.)
Also true - it will be deeply satisfying to watch a bunch of red-hatted lemmings who voted for this dumpster fire reach the "find out" stage of their lives.
– Dred Scott v. Sandford
– Korematsu v. United States
As a result, many voters are left to decide based on emotional appeals.
America's stupid, ignorant, malicious, nihilist voters, supported Trump. The damage that he will do, will NOT be fixable.
