Supermarket Simulator. As much as I disliked working retail, this game is so calming to me because of the organization aspects and the fact it has none of the cons of working retail for me
I've got a problem.
Every time world of warcraft releases an expansion I restart my subscription. I buy games still when they stand out, but then wow takes up all my time because it's a nice calming skinner box for me. Latest Horizon though on pc I started recent
Back to my Trails from Zero playthrough and loving it! Just finished chapter 1 and can’t wait to see where we go from here. Few better game worlds than Trails from my experience now in the 4th game.
Funny enough, it was God of War. Had it since it came out and got Ragnarok over BF and thought "I can't play that unless I've played the previous one" so I cracked on. Really enjoyed it! Last game of 2024 was Robocop Rouge City
I’ve been going through Mega Man Legends 2 on my end. Like the first game, it oozes charm and character, though I find it a bit more frustrating lmao. I’m almost at the end and it’s a bit bittersweet cause once I finish it there’s just Tron Bonne left and then that pretty much it for Legends
Started Sea Of Stars over the holidays. Great game. Also tried Wheel Of Fortune and Family Fued the past couple days with the family and both have been a lot of fun.
I'm not joking or exaggerating when I say that 420 Blaze It 2 is a genuinely good game.
Even big gaming websites like PC Gamer or Rock Paper Shotgun are impressed with how good it is. It's the first game I 100% completed since Borderlands 3 xD
Actually good pls give it a try
Just got out of a toxic relationship where video games were not acceptable, so I have a bunch of catching up to do. Just started Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
I started playing Dredge from the week before Christmas, which is roughly when it came out for Mac, and I'm still playing it now.
I'm really looking forward to Control for Mac in early February, and Cyberpunk 2077 at an unspecified date.
Bought Mail Time on a Steam Sale a while back and finally got around to giving it a go last night. It’s fun so far, and the character designs are so cute, though I have the suspicion it’ll turn out to be quite a short game. I like that the platforming isn’t punishing, and gliding is fun in any game.
Finally made to the Silent Hill 2 remake, the sound design is chefs kiss! Some of the enemy encounters get a bit samey, shoot leg, bat round the head but mannn that atmosphere. I swear to god I need to take a break every now and then to catch my breath..
I'm a weird little greeble who enjoys those ugly simulator games made from unity assets. Especially with the baby I need something to just shut my brain off to at night. The recent one I've gotten into is motel manager simulator. Stupid game, I love it.
*okami* never played it before, and i’m really, really enjoying it. you get to be a dog, feed little critters, collect a million things, go around healing nature, and oh yea USE A MAGIC CALLIGRAPHY BRUSH THAT CAN DRAW INTO REALITY like??? it’s and older game but…it’s exactly what i need right now <3
I'm redoing my Digimon Cyber Sleuth complete edition because of... some dumb mistakes I did while trying to do this mod. Oh well, I'm having fun again with the mod, well... another mod that is unrelated to what screwed me over.
I ran my first session of Masks (PbtA) for 2025. My players found an archive/library and were able to do some research that may help them figure out how to avert the coming apocalypse.
They still have to attend a news conference the next morning, so they'll probably get distracted. 😜
I'm actually playing DQ 4 while waiting for 1+2 to come out. Finally decided to really sink my teeth into the series as JRPG fan (mostly tales of, and FF). So with having 11 done and 3 HD 2d finished it's off to 4-6. Heard good things about all 3 of them so I am very excited.
Gonna focus on 3 games for now: SRW 64, Yakuza 4 and Tales of Rebirth, all 3 of them started last year, and gonna beat those 3, also trying some dumb runs on RD, i play RD way too much, Micaiah is there and i love her so much.
Steam reminded me that Noita was my most played game in 2024 and now I'm back on it. I had 4 wands all set to tear the world apart and then I hit a polymorph mage, turned into a slime, and instantly died.
I have been playing Animal Well but I started that before the new year. I did play a short game about wandering in the woods but I cannot remember the name for the life of me.
I haven't started any new ones yet. I'm cleaning up some of the games I couldn't beat last year before I consider beginning another playthrough of anything.
Buddy got me Fallout New Vegas on 360, and since it was a digital download and my disc drive is Borked™️ at the moment, it’s about the only game I can play on it so I’m playing that
Sometimes I play the ASCII version because I feel like it encourages you to read more so you learn more about your divorce and what is happening during combat. The steam version makes it a little hard to get really deep into reports.
I started Tokyo Xanadu eX+ earlier in December and I'm making my way through it, I also just recently started a Danganronpa fangame called "Project Eden's Garden," which is genuinely well made and I've been enjoying a good amount.
Yeah, kinda strange it got announced back in March 2024 (I think) and we haven't heard a peep about it ever since but we got an announcement AND a release for a whole-ass Trails game during that whole year
Lord of the Rings : Return to Moria.
Seems solid so far. I wish the mining speed was a tad faster, but that's what tool upgrades are for. I should probably find the recipes for those...
Started on Dragon Age Veilguard for a second run. I know everyone hates it, and I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but here we are. The more used to it i got, the more I enjoyed it.
Oooh, my top three are Emmrich (currently romancing him), Lucanis, and Harding. I love everyone else, but those three are my favorite to bring along. Who are yours?
I am also on my second run through Veilguard. I need to see all the things I missed the first time. I honestly believe there are few game companies that tell stories on Bioware's level
I tell myself I'm going to make all the opposite choices. I think I made one change from the last playthrough and I am almost done now. Maybe the third try?
You are stronger than me! I tried. I really did. Reloaded to my original choice. Reloaded, opposite choice. Finally, I reloaded back to my original choice.
The Thaumaturge, and I really like it. Beautifully done, good voice acting, interesting combat mechanic (card-game based) and a really immersive story.
Silent Hill 2 Remake. Hubby got it for me for Christmas. Didn’t even know they remade it. Definitely nostalgic for me being a BIG survival/horror game player back in the 90s/2000s. Very impressed so far.
Continuing fallout 4 from last year.... sorry to say I've not met my backlog quota. I plan on tears of the kingdom as my first game of 25, and then back to the backlog for 2 or three games.
Bf got me Echoes of Wisdom for Christmas! Been playing that so far. I also picked up the MySims games the other day, but trying to actually finish a game before starting another loll
was about 20 minutes of Path of Exile but was like dead tired because i got little sleep New Years Eve. after getting a good night's sleep played Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for a few hours
The game taps into its rogue-like elements hard, it has an element of Arcade to it where you are constantly trying to one up your own score and decisions! It’s unlike mobile games where the goal is to monopolize your time, here it just happens. Very satisfying gameplay loop.
Got myself Tomb Raider remastered as a late Christmas present. Brings back memories of a better time (when I was young and didn't have to work for a living).
I'm wrapping up winter break trying to finish Veilguard with my father. We don't get to spend a lot of time together, but he does like to request RPG games for me to play for him
Started and finished Indiana Jones Great Circle - beautiful game made with reverence by folks who clearly love the original movie. But… glitchy AF and terrible discoverability (to make it more movie-like!).
My wife found a game called "Son and Bone". It came out about 4 months ago but it only just surfaced on the PlayStation Store. It's basically Doom with dinosaurs. It's batshit insane but she's having a good time with it.
Went on the eshop and typed in Mega Man and found this game. Pretty fun in its way being a faster classic Mega Man game although the story feels like it had a rough translation.
My first game of 2025 was actually Highway Blossoms, and I finished it yesterday. It's a really short VN, 12 hours (6 for the main game + 6 for Next Exit) but it's insanely good, I highly recommend it
Yep, Studio Elan (the creator) specializes in yuri VNs. My favorite of theirs is Heart of the Woods, and this one is really good as well, I highly highly recommend it

Then after I woke up, I started a new save in Stardew Valley. So that's the current fixation.
yeah….

Next is Trails in the Sky!

I loved Dragon Quest 8 and have 11 ready to play. But people said, "Try 3! It has a great story and 1-2 come after it next year!"
Girl, there is no story. I feel lied to. And it's not really that much fun to be honest lol.
and playing 1994 sailor moon lmfao
Lego Skywalker Saga
Indiana Jones: Circle of Truth
A little late to the party but still a great time!
(PSA - sneak and silenced weapons are ludicrously OP)
The steam UI isn't perfect but it was seeing constant improvements when I played, and there's DFhack for some extra features.
But yeah, pre-steam version had a different flavor for sure.
Oh yeah DFhack is required for even the steam version for me. Like there's still some things that are just fundamentally not usable without it.
Played MK1 as the new year began and have been playing The Finals pretty much every day for the past year
Seems solid so far. I wish the mining speed was a tad faster, but that's what tool upgrades are for. I should probably find the recipes for those...
Also Fortnite. I'm too addicted to that madness.
Idk what new game will be first tho
Some people got theories what it could be, but not much rn
But also fair lmao
No seriously though, none of my friends play this game except one i managed to convince.
Up to Day 8 of Unlimited Blade Works, so far.
I first played it when it was first released, and haven’t played it since, so catching up on the (extensive) updates.
So far its been pretty great.
Remember: I have very dark humour, very dark…….
