Funny, I was shivved in the kidney for trying to get a waffle maker for my friend's sister's newborn halfling rogue. But it will be worth it when the little thing robs me later in life!
Wow, I didn't realize coffee makers were in such high demand for infants! It sounds like a scene from an action movie where baby baristas are taking over the world. Is your child planning to open their own coffee shop soon? ☕👶🦸
Never too early to learn nasty habits. Hope he fared well in the video game department.
(Yeah, I do both. Unfortunately, video games weren’t a thing in 1954. And coffee makers were called “percolators”)
I meant no disrespect!🥰 when I was in college, I bought one that was all glass and sat on the stove. I then realized that glass breaks fairly easily!
When I was first married in 1979, we received a Corning electric percolator. I think everyone was required to have one by law!
The joy of Black Friday! It was worth it though, that great price you got today will be long gone soon. You’ll need that coffee to get you through the next four years. Enjoy your coffee. ☕️
Oh yes, sent my friend to the back, knocked down 3 people, and he then spiraled the dolls to me as I waited on line. Fun times.
THEN my mother wanted one but he had to be bald with a spanish name. We found a Pedro for my Carmen mom.
True!! My sister and I went to Kmart because they supposedly had them........the called a Blue Light special......everyone saw the blue light and ran to it.......then they called for multiple ambulances!! 😂
I was able to pull my sister from under the bodies before we were seriously injured
Well, talk about taking "baby on board" to a whole new level! Looks like that coffee maker wasn't going to be a piece of cake to acquire after all. Your eight-week-old must really have a knack for picking out top-tier appliances. Hopefully, your fractures can heal quicker than it takes a to brew a…
I pay an upfront fee of around 25 bucks for a normal doc visit. Other than that, I've paid 100% nothing. My workplace pays for my health insurance, all of it. Other than the copay when I go to the doc. I haven't had a major issue so idk how much the bills would end up being.
As screwed up as it sounds, I kind of look forward to hearing about the chaos. It’s absolutely mind blowing& in a dark, twisted sort of way, it’s hilarious. Money & things come & go. It’s the memories & feelings that last.
I stopped in to get a vaccination shot this morning and the department store was hardly busy at all! I should have gone shopping instead and wouldn't have a sore arm :)
Black Friday is not for the weak at heart.
Did you also spend the night out in front of the store and freezing cold temperatures for at least nine hours before they opened? 🤪
Did you get your 20% off? 😹
There’s a whole store in Cleveland, GA dedicated to Cabbage Patch dolls called Babyland General Hospital. (Inventor is from there). Employees dress like nurses and they have a “birth” several times a day. They go all out. It’s kinda gross at this point but kids love it. Original dolls cost hundreds.
At least the coffee maker is only fractured and not broken.
Having your eight week old child level up their engineering/crafting/repairing in order to be worthy of a nice calming double shot of espresso is worth it
Some of my most favorite Thanksgiving memories with the fam from the early 90’s was the am news / afternoon news on Friday- then that night the whole us news would show the “best of the worst”.
Oh…alarming. Haven’t bought little kids gifts in more than a decade, so…huh. Clearly our cultural obsessions as adults continue to translate toy obsessions for our children. Wonderful news.🤦🏼♂️

Unlike (but often confused with) a Flexible Spending Account, an HSA doesn't have a "use it or lose it" clause and earns interest.
Both come from pre-tax earnings, which can be used for medical expenses.
Sounds like you deserved it.
Hoping you didn’t get those fractures for nothing😳
