Serious question about the echo chamber: What *is* there to talk about with people who don’t believe in liberal democracy, honoring treaties, or state capacity beyond the ability to make libs sad and explode the occasional Iranian? From a foundational perspective, what do I have to work with here?

We fail to learn how to listen and think, because we might need to change.
Socialism.
I don't believe in liberal democracy. I think it's a fiction. I still believe in democracy. I just don't think capitalism does a very good job at it.
Not joking

Some gop jumping ship before they get swamped.
The kids who were dumb - loudly, obnoxiously dumb - and abusive - are the people you're talking about.
They weren't worth conversation then, and they aren't now.
Also I'd like to sell my books which are going to have queer characters if not focus (like the WIP) I don't need some rabid hater invading my posts
These people can't conceive of becoming someone that other humans want to interact with by choice, as a precondition of interacting with them.
1) Disagree with us in good faith based on honestly-held beliefs and are willing to have good-faith discussions about those disagreements;
2) The thing they believe that we disagree on isn't that they believe we should be shot.
2. They think the bipolar transgender socialist posting lewds and pictures of stuffed sharks is more dignified company than the next president.
3. They are correct.
MAGAs hate this.
I believe in democracy.
But liberalism and neoliberalism see social solidarity as "ennemy to eradicate".
Because they don’t want to actually exchange ideas via debate, they just want to scream at you until you admit that they’re right.
Simply having a community doesn't make that community an echo chamber. Don't waste time entertaining questions asked in bad faith.

That’s what he was campaigning on. Being “strong on woke”
What’s there to discuss when a candidates main platform is being against the awareness of societal facts and issues.
The R’s I know are first in line for government dollars for business grants and farm subsidies and always looking for ways to game the system. They want socialism, they just don’t want it for you.
Nothing.
That’s been my go-to.
