I know a NIH brain cancer researcher and from what I know, they are closing out current studies. No ability to open anything new. Senior staff is gone. Some brain cancers are so rare that no subnational location will see enough cases to justify this research. Without NIH, this research disappears.

Are they doing any work on Alzheimer's because if they are we have an argument that Trump might need that cure. His dad died of Alzheimer's. That argument might save NIH. Even if they are not working on Alzheimer's Trump won't know the difference. They never check anything.
