UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer: I’ve got the balls to take an axe to Britain’s benefits bill – we’ll be RUTHLESS with cuts if needed.
How brave of him to impoverish the old, sick, poor, disabled, public sector workers; not curbing profiteering, corporate tax abuses.

You've fallen for Harry Cole's rubbish hook, line, and sinker.
Is this some kind of code??
Patrick Swayze, Ghost.
This is an article straight out the Tory playbook.
Then again, this was coming and was one of the reasons I didn't vote Labour at the last election for the first time in my life.
Right?
That's the subtle game.
Don't trust the Sun:
Asked if he had the “stomach or the balls” to take on his squeamish MPs who have railed against benefits cuts for years, the PM insisted: “Yes. I love fights. I had to fight to get the leadership of the Labour Party, had to fight to win the election.”
I'm not a fan of The Sun but if he was asked whether he had the “stomach or the balls” to take on his squeamish MPs who have railed against benefits cuts for years, and answered "yes", the [indirect] quote is legitimate.
King Charles I, once likewise believed he had 'the balls' until he found that others decided:
“Be you never so high, the law is above you”.
Starmer is no Labour man.
( In Germany tax evasion is estimated at 100 BN euros annually)
I'm not particularly a fan of Starmer, and I voted Greens last year... but I have felt for a long time that the benefits system is too easy to manipulate for those (a minority) who don't need it.
That means over 1M foodbank users are registered as UNABLE TO WORK.
That could be temporary, at this time, or permanently unable.
Yet the Starmer/Reeves slogan is still the same as IDS, whose mantra was ripped off from Auschwitz...
They put up CGT... I'd say re-work council tax into something closer to LVT but... you think the farm protests are bad that would be worse.
That’s the whole thing they’re doing investing!
And the UKs biggest problem is a lack of investment. We cannot afford capital flight.
Yes there are ppl who could pay more. But how do you do that without other adverse effects?
You say about the poor on benefits. Riddle me this, benefit claimant spends Xmas on cruise ship, whereas the worker ie me can't afford to.
It’s sexist at the very least.
What a twit.
You're a liability and a 'post truth' propaganda nest.
Not doing their bidding like a pliant weasel.
It isn’t “Israel” that you should point to so much as a small group of ultra-right grifters around Bibi. Religion isn’t the point; grifting (and oil) are.
Where's the alleged quote about axes and balls?
Starmer's desperation to be loved by The S*n, The Heil and the Torygraph means he is not only willing but eager to hammer the rest to get his hands on their meagre 5.8%
This is utterly despicable

Just when you think he can't stoop any lower, he's like, "hold my beer".
Starmer needs to look after his paymasters.
There will be no buffers to walk the streets come the next election, we’re all gone.
That seems sensible.
🙄
Amy fool knows you must grow income to er, grow.
He needs to be ruthless with water companies, children's homes, social care, energy companies...
Call yourself Labour?
You're an absolute charlatan.
I hope Scotland eviserates you like you deserve at the next election.
We choose to look after our weak, our weary, and our poor. And we'll go much further once independent
