I wish youtube would stop recommending me people doing "movie reviews" that are just blatant soapboxing of their political views disguised as "entertainment". I miss when they put their stupid buzzwords in the title making it easier to tell.
I don't know why youtube even recommends me this shit since I couldn't be further from the target audience of reactionary grifters identity wise. I'm starting to think youtubes algo thinks you're into this shit as soon as you consume any gaming content.
The opposite is also true. I hate football, but I faked enjoyed it just to fit in. I personally couldn't care less about the overtly homo-erotic millionaires touching each other on live TV. Maybe just enjoy what you like, to hell with what other people think.
Still so relevant, it's crazy. I had this exact topic come up in a conversation with my friend today. That it's okay to enjoy things that other people didn't enjoy.
The media saying something is good or bad doesn't mean you have to agree with them. Don't let that ruin your enjoyment.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that about most of Ernie's moons. (TBF, almost all comic strip artists are guilty). I pointed it out on a Facebook group once, and people there thought I was being nerdy. How is something so universal & so easily observed not common knowledge?
Mr. Sputter. When Aunt Fritzi goes out of town she leaves Nancy with the Sputters who live next door. Mrs. Sputter adores Nancy, but Mr. Sputter doesnβt like her.
I'm guessing review is the original spelling, but newspapers went with revue because it's one less letter and they used to charge by the letter if you wanted to buy space. Lots of words were shortened for newspapers, but some of them didn't stick
Not quite!!! Revue is a french word literally meaning to re-view something, to look over it again (and in the case of reviews, cast a judgment on it) and ofc the english language decided to adopt it as they do but I'm guessing eventually it changed to a proper anglicized version of the word!
It is so bad, you have to look up that you need to do homework to realize WHY it's bad. Anyone can realize the flaws in multi-Paul, time-traveling twits, Oliver, King immortal, and that Mark is suddenly dumber so things can happen.
Holy shit what's your problem?
Yeah, I can post a Google search of "why invincible S3 is good", not really an critique. Mark isn't acting dumb. Listing character names and saying "well it's sooo obvious" is a nothingburger of a comment. Kick rocks

I always go with the opposite of a criticβs call. Itβs never failed.
Very inappropriate time for Nancy to be out at movies.

It was not the artist's priority to display the correct moon phase, a 3D plaid texture, or consistent lamp position.
DOGEβs rampage through institutions has parallels in Chinaβs Cultural Revolution

I survived Mao Zedong and the Chinese Communist Partyβs purges. What's happening now reminds me of the CCPβs Central Cultural Revolution Group.

All I can say is to re-read the post, as gives several VERY clear examples and I KNOW it is bad.
