Intelligence (Canadian show about a big time weed dealer who becomes an informant for Canadian Intelligence). Ended on a cliffhanger and I'm still not over it over nearly 20 years later
Heartbeat but set it in different decade ... The bill as once a week police soap mix in old with new characters!
Fort boyard but with celeb team captains...
I think the only reboot that ever worked was Battlestar Galactica. I am a fan of prequels and sequels to existing shows. Eg Space: 1999 the Next Generation - tell the story of the children of the first show characters.
the fact that the queen returned in the reboot was awesome as the mother to the new queen. so maybe 3rd times a charm and we get 3 generations of Visitor Queens?!

*The 100 -Give it a better ending!
*Into the Badlands - IT ENDS IN SUCH A HUGE CLIFFHANGER for EVERYONE!!! They did us sooo wrong with that ending!
*ANNIE with an E - We deserved at least 1 more season

Odyssey 5 had a really interesting premise then it suddenly lost it mid season and got cancelled. With the AI references I think some decent writers attached to it would make it a winner.
I always thought it was cancelled by the AI running tv networks 🙂
Interesting, do you mean the This Life cast in their 50s in 2025 or a 2020s Gen Z version with 20 somethings? The 90s version of its time but I guess a 2020s version could work to highlight the world we are now living in + how radically different it is. I think I wouldn’t brand it as This Life tho.
Buffering issues on Zoom, cyber bullying, scrolling apps, woke/anti woke arguments, chain vaping and a controversial party involving milkshakes for episode 1… The Return of #ThisLife
You wait for episode 2! In the aftermath of the milkshake party, an AI bot blackmails the housemates involved in the cybersex scandal. Liam struggles to come to terms with their gender dysphoria + attempts to end them life overdosing on a lemon vape so they miss Ava’s slogamy announcement… #THISlife
Star Cops". Given the "10 ep orders" of TV today, single storyline, the love of cosy crime and a dash of futurism, it's all there. Heck, if they've rebooted Bergerac, why not Bergerac In Space? Think of it as "Only Murders On The Moon" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bskD5Lddfo
Oh very fair - I hate the new host on the Netflix version for season 2, I won't lie. Also worry for their vision with how bright the phones are during the elimination
Ultraviolet (the 1998 British one). 6 episodes was criminally too few. Jack Davenport and Idris Elba might be a bit pricy now and Susannah Harker is directing, so probably new cast.
SMTV Live. The kids/hungover students need something fun to watch on telly and the industry desperately needs a training ground for new live talent (on and off camera). Win/win.
I know that they don't count as a TV show @channel4.bsky.social any of the 90s shows e.g.The Big Breakfast, The Word , TFI, Don't forget your toothbrush.
American here but I’d wish that Mitchell and Webb look would return. If the stars are busy then maybe just one 90minute episode every couple of years. But something
Blackadder (the brexit negotiations) - certain there’s enough material to have Baldrick as one of the negotiators etc (though Lord Frost might complain it was based on him)

But I miss the old formula, with the cardboard models, the good old white truck, and Sabine, Fred and Jamy!
And it would have to include a story about Alberto Frog and His Amazing Animal Band, and a game of Bod Snap. Obviously.
Fort boyard but with celeb team captains...
So, of course, I read 'Maid Marian and Her Merry Mad Men'.
Which *still* hasn't been green-lit for a pilot.
Six Million Dollar Man
Sapphire and Steel
A 3rd version of it after Channel 4’s second run between 2017 and 2021 would make me and many others happy!
(I know it was daft)

I think it'll be funny if we got generation variants of this show.
It was canceled after one season, while the protagonist was pregnant with a demon baby.
Tonally have it be like the Battlestar Galactica reboot.

Sorry for the spelling mistake 😞
With the same theme tune.
Seven seasons of the most brilliant comedy tv has ever produced, then it quietly disappeared
