It’s simply a level of craft that most movies don’t even aspire to anymore. On a formal level it is perfect. They actually 100% for real do not make movies like this anymore—Peter Jackson doesn’t make movies like this anymore.

I enjoyed the movies as comic book plays but they're another example of how movies can't always capture the vision and intent of an author.
