But these ai summaries break that chain. It's as reliable as what some bloke in the pub said.
But an LLM doesn't allow that vital traceability, and too many people will just lazily quote whatever garbage the LLM spewed out.

Unless someone (a human obviously) can go in and remove the nonsense it will always be contaminated and give wrong answers. Like the now infamous ChatGPT court pleading that cited non-existent cases.
But there also must be a way to prevent it from re-learning lies.
It doesn't check other sources, so I still need to do that for myself.
Total waste of time, money, water, and the time of the people maintaining it.
