an argument about dog DNA testing has led us to this CBC story from March that pitted 4 testing companies against one another, in which they submitted one of their own reporter's DNA as a sample to see if anybody would catch it, which in turn has led us to the following amazing graphic

what level was travis
Basic Genetics innit?
Dogs operate closer to the speed of light than us, so it actually balances the chronal Discrepancy.
Fizziks.
ok so what level does travis have to hit before he can multiclass into basenji
Factor in the red-shift...
Bonio Y/N? hmm...
Aaaaand... he needs to hit "Low Battery" level.
Like. You had literally one job, people.
Does Travis bark all the time or not at all?
Some of the others, notsomuch.
The science chimps there are sincere and geeky and interested in conservation and diversity breeding.
They are stuck catering mostly to two customer bases of weirdos: weskyoo furmommies and fucking fancy jagoffs.

Especially when it comes to a product that’s more complicated than just making a thing, you tend to get what you pay for. Stapler? I’ll choose the cheap version off Amazon. Milligram scale? I’ll probably look for a brand I’ve heard of first.
A little sumpin' sumpin' was mixed in there, I guess.
That said Maine coons are actually INCREDIBLY popular as a registered breed, buuut that doesn't mean common in proportion to # of cats the way it works in dogs.
Also: What a great idea for an article.
Except for the fraud part.
Results: 75% Corso, 25% Neapolitan
FWIW Embark did *not* ask us to guess the breed before testing
That Dane/Chihuahua "result" is *MWAH*
The Embark was pretty in line with what we thought for the lil dog. The vet DNA analysis for this one though?
I mean he was found originally in Mexico, wandering a resort in Cozumel. But still. Mexican hairless dog?
