Suggestion for a new policy. For every $5,000 a private school in fees above 10K a year per student, their federal funding gets cut in half. If they ‘need’ aquatic centres, elaborate theatre halls etc the parents can obviously afford to pay for all their education

This is Trawsfynydd ☢️ Power Station in Gwynedd, Wales It commissioned in 1965 & operated for 26 years until 1991 It took 6 years, until 1997, to remove the spent ☢️ fuel rods Demolition was to be between 2020-26. But because the site is still so radioactive it’s not expected to complete until 2083

Speaking of nuclear power - I saw the Satsop Nuclear Power Plant while in Washington state. With massive cost overruns, it was mothballed in 1983 before it produced any electricity. This white elephant still stands because it's too expensive to pull it down.
