Urgent: Illegal Activity Underway Many undocumented immigrants file tax returns with the IRS, providing details about their residences, families, employers, and earnings. The IRS has historically encouraged tax compliance by issuing ITINs to those without Social Security numbers.

In the hours before IRS leadership fired some 7,000 employees for allegedly poor performance, a top IRS lawyer flagged officials that “no one” at the agency had done such an assessment. The termination notice went out unchanged anyway. By @andykroll.bsky.social

The author of this piece is an American photo journalist who has been embedded in El Salvador. Reading this piece is frightening and it should be. It's who we are in danger of becoming. time.com/7269604/el-s...

As promised, it's #AMA Time! You can ask me anything, it doesn't mean I'm going to answer everything. I'm going to get a few obvs answers outta the way: 1. YES - PAY YOUR TAXES until you hear @alt-irs.altgov.info or me tell you otherwise. 2. IT DEPENDS (this is the typical tax advice answer)

They’re not even hiding it: By cutting phone lines and closing offices, Republican billionaires are setting up Social Security for failure. And when your check doesn’t show up, there will be no one to call. This is their plan to end Social Security.

Here we come

They're terrorizing our federal employees in real ways and the impact is devastating for all of us. I spoke to a VA employee and FBI Agent about what they're experiencing and it will shock you. This is the most important thing I've written. Please read and share. open.substack.com/pub/fpwellma...

“By the time Mr. Trump made his announcement on Thursday, there were already signs that Paul Weiss had been burned in making a deal with Mr. Trump.” How naïve to think Trump would negotiate in good faith 🙄 www.nytimes.com/2025/03/21/u...

“If you are hoping now to read some reasoned legal analysis regarding the likely outcome of any of these court cases, alas, I know nothing about the law,” Monica Hesse writes. “What I do know is something about what it feels like to be a citizen during the Great Overturning.” wapo.st/4iLB0IE

On April 5, we’re mobilizing to show the strength of our movement — because the fight against President Musk and Kennedy Center chairman Trump is just starting. Join us: handsoff2025.com/?SQF_SOURCE=indivisible

“Elias Law Group will not be deterred from fighting for democracy in court. There will be no negotiation with this White House about the clients we represent or the lawsuits we bring on their behalf."

You wont regret reading this.

Elon is upset that the public is staying informed. So many threats from him lately. We are public servants, not Elon servants.

Is it worse that Donald Trump might have told the Pentagon to brief Elon Musk on top-secret plans for potential war with China, or that he had no idea they were planning to do so until he saw it reported in the media? youtu.be/QyGw1IAlD04

Trump commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick, saying out loud, on camera, that Social Security recipients should accept missing a month's payment without complaint, and calling them criminals if they did complain, should be an inescapable political disaster. And maybe already is. youtu.be/aavEmJSqJVQ

A "former" major Democratic law firm. Lawyers at Paul Weiss now have a choice. Stay and understand you are now aligned with Trump or leave with your dignity.

Hey folks: I’m going to interview journalist Wes Siler about the proposed privatization of public lands. At my pages on and Facebook at 10:05 this morning. Posted there afterward, too.

This is a tremendous interview of the Society for the Rule of Law's Executive Director Gregg Nunziata, by former chief Washington correspondent for CNBC, John Harwood. Gregg is as strong and articulate a conservative voice in support of the Constitution and the Rule of Law as I know.

How is this okay?

New in PN: How #TeslaTakedown is bringing the fight to Musk "Part of the reason people are coming out is because they feel it’s having a real impact on Elon’s pocketbook. I imagine that’s something he cares deeply about. It’s working."

After another week of pure chaos from Musk and Trump, I’m happy to have more good news to deliver to you today. I hope it shows you there are incredible patriots fighting alongside us against this tyranny, and that it gives you some sense of relief.

"The American people are saying loud and clear, we will not accept an oligarchic form of society.” Bernie Sanders

“My hope is that the dam will break in terms of Democrats going on the offense ... We need to take the argument directly to the people.” AOC

Medicare for All isn't radical. What's radical is that we are the only major country not to guarantee health care as a human right. Every other major country figured out years ago how to provide health care to all at a much lower cost. Please don't tell me we can't do the same.

In Nov 2023, the WAPO ran a chilling piece on Trump's plans for a 2nd term. It was one of the early mentions of Project 2025. I wrote about it at the time. Looking back, it's remarkable how much has come true, except for Trump invoking the insurrection act. joycevance.substack.com/p/frogs-boil...
