Thank you. It's been a pleasure to visit the story of your life, if only for a moment.

We all deserve our own love, patience, forgiveness, and respect. It is only when I look too closely, when I begin to doubt in my own ability, that the miasma of anxiety sweeps over me. And I must forgive it. Must regain my own trust. Life is the song of change, and the low notes complement the high.

Anxiety is a slippery thing to suffer. Reason does not work to dispel it; we all have an abundance of reasons to be on edge. To be afraid. I have no choice but to trust that I will be alright. No choice but to recognize, challenge, and abandon the unfair expectations I set for myself.

Great series, especially Gideon.

The purpose of existence is to exist. You cannot help but fulfill it. Meaning, on the other hand, is something we each must discover for ourselves.

This man looks like a carpenters thumb. He looks like an abandoned pug.

The Sword of Kaigen seized and shattered my heart. Piranesi put it back together.

I'm sure I'll hear the original at some point, but I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.

Never forget that every demographic will contain a population of total assholes.

"What could Trump do to lose your support?" is a question that should be asked to people that support him. The rest of us don't understand the fabricated reality they live in. Anything we put forth amounts to uninformed speculation. Rationality has no place here.

Arguing over semantics doesn't seem overly productive. The real story here is that he's hunting down whistleblowers, which is very on brand for Musk and reeks of totalitarianism.

Our opinions are a product of the information we are exposed to. The people who support him do not see this side of him. They see things falling apart around them and they turn on opinion pieces on Fox News where they are fed propaganda that blames everything on an arbitrary marginalized demographic

Dig out your charging port with a needle. It's probably just full of compacted pocket lint.

Its a consumption hole, and I'm falling into it now too. I'm thinking about using an app, like lock me out, to prevent me from using tiktok even if I want to.

How long have you been doing this, if you don't mind me asking?

Truly a feat of arrogance to effectively think your computer runs on magic while also choosing to completely ignore the wizard telling you exactly how to get what you want.

Someone, somewhere, is going to take this out of context and go on a whale killing spree.

You should be very proud of yourself. I need you to know that I mean that sincerely. There is vulnerability in that level of effort. We all deserve our own love and respect, and there can be no doubt in your heart now that you have earned it.

It would be symbolic at most. Wars of aggression are illegal. Its the reason Russia has taken such losses in this war and why the rest of the world is throwing money and arms at Ukraine. The US economy is already headed for recession. Sanctions would all but guarantee a depression.

Did you make this? The level of detail is incredible. I'm admittedly not involved in the embroidery community but I recognize mastery when I see it.

Just the usual strategy of having no strategy other than maximizing chaos so Elon and his cadre of bootlicking incels can quietly dismantle what little public healthcare and social spending you have in America.
All Trump has done is show the rest of the world how weak and fragile America is.

I only just joined, but I'm liking it so far. It's pretty much exactly like twitter, in my limited experience, but I've seen less nazi's on here, so I'm hopeful. I'm mostly just using it as a diary at the moment.

Adding sci-fi elements to the Jurassic Park franchise can only be a good thing. Sharks with freaking laser beams? No (although sharks existed before trees did on Earth).
Apatosaurus with laser beams? Yes please!

It is human nature to make things about ourselves. In reality, most if not all of the worst things happening in the world would have happened if you never existed at all. You are not in control. None of us are.
There is a balance to be struck between apathy and empathy. I hope you find it, friend.

Consume your content. Learn about the state of the world, but do so through a critical lens. Observe how the information is presented. Is it trying to scare you? Is it trying to make you angry? This is by design.
Outrage drives engagement. Engagement means money.

You must feel these things. Fear is a part of life. As is anger, and hopelessness, and despair. We are disproportionately fed these emotions because they demand our attention, and our attention is something corps pay a lot of money optimizing for.
