Feel better soon!

Absolutely correct, and yet he's still doing it because people are obeying, even though he has no authority and should be treated like any other trespasser on government property.
The problem is even when the courts block him, the damage has been done. It's the normal play by MAGA.

Those who didn't vote also chose him. Not voting is a choice and it had consequences.

Yup. 100% agree with everything you said. So many of them seem unwilling to cut ties with their "friends across the isle" when those same "friends" are destroying our democracy. Every single bill, nomination, anything, should be an absolute crawl uphill climb.

At what point do we all just say this is absolutely lunacy and stop going along with whatever they say are the rules? If their rules are against vaccines, their rules are wrong and should be ignored.

Ugh I'm so sorry :( I've only had it once (before paxlovid was widely available) and was so thankful I had been vaccinated. It was horrible. I hope you feel better really soon!

I promise you I never voted for that piece of shit. Not in 2016, not in 2020, and not in 2024.

I'm exhausted trying to explain what a flight test is every time SpaceX does one. I wish SpaceX would fire Musk so his shit would stop tainting the very good and hard work that all of the talented engineers at SpaceX are doing. This isn't the take you really want. Please do better.

I suspect they are all going to fall in line, for every nominee, after putting on a show hearing and coming out with language just like this, "welp he answered all my questions so..."
I'm not expecting any backbone. They've shown repeatedly not to have one. I was glad to see the Dems fighting.

I needed to see this tonight. Thank you.

And within a couple of hours it's going to be Sunday. I fear that by the time this is adjudicated it's going to be too late and the report will get buried by the incoming corrupt administration. You know trump will appeal to SCOTUS.

This 100%. Don't they realize it's demoralizing to the public when the people in power, don't exercise that power, even if they know they'll lose? The fight is worth having because it'll motivate people like me to keep fighting too.
This feels utterly lost on most of them.

In that case, I'm fully on team release both reports before the evidence is destroyed.

It's incredibly frustrating realizing generations from now will still be cleaning up this maga mess. Ugh.

Don't they need to appeal it so Cannon's horrible ruling that the SC was unconstitutionally appointed can be overturned?
comment in response to

I wish I had your hope. I'm still working on rebuilding any shred of it after watching Harris lose to that thing. I'll believe it when I see the report has been released.

Are you planning on covering this today on your live stream? Would love to hear your thoughts on it.

This country and its systems are utterly broken. I don't know if this can be healed.

It only needs to delay long enough for trump to install his lackeys at DOJ and bury the report and evidence. It's so plainly obvious why they're doing this now.

And I'm over here with my Brother color laser multifunction printer that not only connected to my wifi on the first try, but also connected to my NAS share to store scanned docs, and was immediately recognized by every computer and android phone on the network and 'just works'.

I did not know he had to go around FBI obstruction, but I do remember the Scott Perry cell phone thing.

I wasn't advocating for bypassing the rule of law, only actually upholding it. At least from the outside it appears the DOJ didn't even open an investigation into sitting members of Congress who helped the insurrection.

It would have still been the right thing to do. So many people had zero accountability for their crimes, and now we face the consequences.

The phrase "just burn it all down" comes to mind. FFS what a joke.

A corrupt SCOTUS makes an utterly and plainly corrupt ruling so an insurrectionist can take power again, and we're still playing by the rules while they are making up new ones...it seems very one sided and stacked against us. I hope you're right that local organizing gets us out of this...

I get why democrats fold constantly when the GOP is willing to effectively hold a gun to the heads of the American people, but it's getting really, REALLY tiring to be taken hostage all the time. This has to stop.

The lengths so many in this country are willing to go to cover for one fucking convicted criminal... There's a reason the feeling of "burn it all down" keeps coming up. Ugh. I look forward to seeing your take on this today.

It's always Republicans shutting down the government to "own the libs."
When can we just agree that the GOP is no longer legitimate and push them all aside? They shouldn't be allowed to be in power.

Spending money on advancing humanity into space has never been a waste.

Exactly this. Musk needs to depart SpaceX so we can get back to enjoying successful and amazing rockets instead of having it all stained with his crap.
comment in response to

We can do all of the above, including having a partially reusable human rated rocket to access space domestically. The Falcon 9 has a stellar safety record. Musk needs to be fired from SpaceX so his shit can stop staining the good and needed work SpaceX is doing. Musk is an embarrassment.

Isn't the point of filings like this not to sway the judge but to get this idea out into the public sphere, rebroadcast by every news media, and then use that to continue to lie to his followers why he keeps losing? "The jury was against me!"

One point, even on 11, there's a difference between a Microsoft account login and using OneDrive. You can happily use 11 and tell OneDrive to stuff it.

Wouldn't this require democratic controlled states to support it? The GOP doesn't control enough states to call for one by themselves, do they?

So, theoretically, they could operate a 2400W microwave from their normal household outlet? That sounds fantastically fun!

Agree completely. Which is why I think educating on this TV setting and allowing people to pick what they want is better than keeping them ignorant and shutting it off for them. :)

I much prefer to watch movies at home because I can actually see what's happening on fast action scenes and quick pans instead of it turning into a slideshow blur. 24fps needs to go away. That's my hill I'll die on 😂
comment in response to
post
Movies look like they do because they picked 24fps as a "good enough" frame rate, but panning especially at 24fps looks horrible. We can and should want better, not sticking to outdated practices because it's always been done that way.
