Just saw a news alert from WaPo—thank you. It’s appalling to see reports of DOGE “employees” meeting with and giving orders to various career government employees and departments. They are not electeds. No one voted for them. And advisory groups don’t get to issue mandates and fire employees.
What? You didn't post a #random-hashtag to signal resistance?
My experience in online activism have told me that's the main, and usually only, way to resist.
Im being an ass of course, you can say what you want. Elon thinks he's full of lulz and that's why he called it "doge" so I dont really want to partake
I get that! I just like to do things “right” and I totally agree with your reasoning. I’d not thought of pronouncing it any other way. Not giving him what he wants is a great reason.
My favorite quote from this is Sam Hammond (a senior economist who backs DOGE):
"DOGE isn’t a federal advisory committee because DOGE doesn’t really exist. DOGE is a branding exercise, a shorthand for Trump’s government reform efforts.”
Basically, Elon and Vivek are getting a participation trophy.
I tried to read this article. It’s by The Washington Post. I’m so disgusted by Bezos that I quite my subscription before the election. Today they were offering 99 cents a month for a year. Jeff Bezos clearly doesn’t get it. Jeff Bezos sold out the free press.

It looks like the administration has turned the pre-existing US Digital Service (which is, as I understand it, within OMB and therefore part of the Executive Office of the President) into DOGE, rather than establishing DOGE as a new entity. Does that affect this lawsuit?
mike, i'm one of FLP's noisiest fans; funny to be answering your question about PACER. FLP has always helped me find what i want and keeps adding great features, so i never run out of stuff to cheer about. 🎇🎇
Love it! At the time, I think it wasn't quite available yet. I might have also been a bit lazy and/or wanting to be sure we got it right. I think @bigcases.bots.law is following it now. :)

Are you also doing something that will help?
proud of you.

I hope the lawsuits filed today outnumber his executive orders!
And in case anyone missed this - the Elmo is high as a kite at the inauguration.

Isn’t Times of India the equivalent of India’s Fox News?
They wrote a lot of lies about the Muslim population living in India
