I think you need to google Rowan Atkinson. Believe it or not, DID do many seasons of a great show called Blackadder long before this OR Mr. bean. Also, Hugh Laurie was in it. 'member him? 'House'?
Watching Never Say Never Again, huh? Had forgotten Rowan was in it. Tbf, I watched it in my teens and mostly remember Barbara Carrera being insanely hot.
The best part of Never Say Never Again being this non-Eon/Broccoli production is anytime they mention facts about the Eon franchise they have to add an asterisk about this like it’s a 1930s exhibition game that wasn’t sanctioned by the league.
This was a tough one. I looked up the bond film list and the wiki list irritatingly separated Never Say Never Again from the others because it had a different production company. I don't think I had ever seen it because of how old Sean Connery is in the photo (53). Aktinson was something like 28.
Just checked and the guy is 70 now, which is impressive for someone in a country where most people seems to age like spoiled milk as soon as they hit 60.
This is Connery’s last Bond movie - and it was an “unofficial” one made in 1983, so it’s a bit of a leap from the classic 60s Bonds. It was also a rival indie Bond movie released the same year as Roger Moore’s Octopussy, and directed by the guy who directed Empire Strikes Back.
