450B can't buy a sense of humor. Musk's attempts to be funny are the most pathetic thing about him (obviously that is not the issue here and it does not make him any less dangerous).
Its far weirder for somone who already had milions. She might literally lose money on the job if she crashes out and then cannot return to the kind of job she would have had otherwise.
There must be a promise for much more involved, like a 100 million or so, for reaching certain targets.
Elon: "Linda!"
Linda: "Yes, sir."
Elon: "I need you to reply to a post I just made."
Linda: "But..."
Elon: "That's if you enjoy bathroom breaks."
Linda: "Right away, sir. Heil Hitler!"
And Yaccarino has no choice but to laugh it up, because she put herself in the position of being Musk's toady. Well done, Linda. He's a fucking Nazi and you w got the giggles.
For some reason whenever I see her, I picture her tweet a long while ago of saying "we have a mall! It's like a bunch of stores are roommates! Only on X"
what makes you think she had any good "mores" to begin with? what exactly is it about her legacy that should lead us to give her that benefit of doubt? she took on this job willingly after all
The sort of rank bulk exploitation and harm you are required to impose upon your workers to rise to the executive suite of any company of note generally means one can assume the rot has long set in before their names are bubbling into the headlines.
agreed. Pretty much anyone rising to a top position of a company (and the richer ones even moreso) seems to be completely correlated to their level of sociopathy
Agree. And name-dropping a list of major Nazi figures with the ease of familiarity on a public platform, that’s not jokes. That’s not even a dog whistle. It’s openly yelling “here’s my reading list, you should join me”

A remarkable feat for the world's richest man to come across as so pathetic.
"Some people will Goebbels anything down!" Joseph Goebbels, Nazi minister
"Stop Göring your enemies!" Hermann Göring, leading Nazi
"His pronouns would’ve been He/Himmler" Heinrich Himmler, a Nazi official.
Neither option is particularly good.
Will you be arriving soon? I hope to welcome you!
Best,
Ken
Honestly, its a tough question. I don't think I would though. I've got enough money and life is too short for that shit.
*probably have to stick the money in an offshore account and go into hiding after tho.

Look man I gotta keep hope alive somehow.

We knew when she was hired what her role was. But the depths to which people will self immolate their own mores and legacy is astonishing.
But I generally assume people, at some point, were better than they are later on (or worse, depending on the person).
Would like to think at one point she wouldn't have supported a nazi. But maybe she would've. Sad.
