This comes with age. I value the calm seeing of my own living room with the view out to the city lights, so champagne and fireworks throughout the night when i celebrate at home.
that's the life. my boyfriend and I played some world of warcraft and then we walked downtown and got Indian food and played skee ball at our favorite bar
Mine works 2nd shift but I called to wish happy New Years. Had one of his favorite meals ready....with cornbread. No fireworks......makes the furbaby bark too much.
How i felt earlier as i worked on a jigsaw puzzle while my wife made us a little nye charcuterie board. Watched our favorite movies and cuddled our cat. Love rocks.
Yessss. I’m making dinner and then we’re having French 75’s at 9pm local for east coast NYE, so we can go to bed before midnight. Invited the neighbor who’s recovering from surgery to join us for the drink if he’s up for it.
Chefhubby and I spend the day/evening making appetizers and watching extended LOTR trilogy. We have done this for a decade now and zero regrets marrying a man who still pauses it when he gets up to get more lil smokies he's mainlining so he can see Gimli be gifted three hairs from Galadriel's head.
I wish you many more happy years. We have been married 33 years, and each year gets more special. Secret is don't sweat the small stuff, the payoff is immense.
Sounds like my New Year’s Eve. Only difference is I picked up some shrimp & a nice bottle of Cook’s sparkling wine, the one on the sweeter side. And, yeah, we watched “New Year’s Eve from Nashville”
Mine is making me fancy cocktails even though he feels poorly and worked all day. We are eating sausage balls i made with the teenagers today, playing wingspan, and waiting for the Nashville ball also.
Answering a friend’s “what are you up to tonight” question with “we’re on the couch with the dog” is honestly pretty nice. This place has cookies, too!
Spent the night playing games with my high/middle school kids and have been snuggling up to my wife.
Fck the club life. Fun music I can and have listened to at home but...Fck the club. Don't get me wrong if that's you then I hope you have a great and safe but exciting time. I've got mine.
Also watching NY’s Eve from Nashville and getting my 93 y/o mother drunk on spiked egggnog (she’s had the alcohol equivalent of two beers - doubt we’ll make midnight)
My wife of 20 years is my best friend, and we stayed in with my mom and brother, ordered a seafood spread, and drank wine and played Train Dominoes while watching Anderson Cooper get loaded. Happy New Year!
I watch it yearly here in Nashville even though I only like a small sliver of country tunes. Luke Combs was my only nope tonight as he and his fans are gross. But Eric Church, Shaboozy, and Lainey were great and this gal was groovy as hell. She has a vibe and a cool groove. Who is she?
Thank you! The best vibes of the night. I also loved Eric Church doing a riff on the Talking Heads cover of Al Green's "Take Me to the River". It's a soul song that Talking Heads covered in 78 but did it dumb slow and it works.
It’s my 16th anniversary and I have never made a better decision in my life. Some kids are in bed, some are at a party a few houses over, we’re getting ready to pop in for a few. Life couldn’t be better.
I made dirty fries with left over homemade chilli and we split a bottle of red wine while watching a programme about Riki Fulton a Scottish comedian. In bed before the bells listening to the firework war zone outside.
The dog is so scared because of the endless fireworks outside (really, guys, five hours is ENOUGH) that my wife and I are laying in bed with her binge watching TRUE BLOOD.
Sounds perfect!! We had a nice dinner with our kids and my mom and now gardening and doing sparklers. It’s a wild NYE! We gotta rest up bc KH said we gotta roll up our sleeves in 2025! We got work to do!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I dropped by the neighbor with huge fireworks and goddamn if all the kids weren’t having an amazing good time. Hell yeah! My drunk neighbors were nice in a moderate dose and I spent my NYE with a nice doob on the back porch with my dog, who is learning to deal with fireworks. He’s pretty good now.
Sleepy puppy tax. Was a great night and we were only out for like 3 hours. Not worth going out much anymore, its usually expensive and a lot of people.
Mine has me out in the driveway in the cold, shooting fireworks for our kids. I could be out getting some strange. But I didn’t have to put on makeup, so it balances out.
We listened to Bob Weir & Wolf Bros live on the radio, played Scrabble, ate snacks and drank soda. Went to bed right after midnight - third set be blowed!

I sat with my wife watching a great college football game with a ton of snacks. Heaven.
I had to try SPAM TURKEY it - wasn't good but it makes a handy plectrum and guitar stuff container.
I'm BIG Daddy to my four kids!
I love my wife and kids! ❤️🤠♥️
Asian? Thats our luxury food. 😘

happy new year to you both, and to Austin too.
Got two of their $5 burger special meals with onion rings, a drink and a cookie.
Then came home and snuggled our two little pups and ended up crashing by 11pm.
I have never liked spam.
