If you cancelled WaPo over this, please at least also do the math on your Amazon Prime membership to see if you order enough to justify 12 to 15 bucks per month for free shipping. I just cancelled my next renewal.
Would I lose my Kindle books and movies? I bought many of them when I was still working and don’t have the money to replace them. If Trump wins I’ll just say screw it and cancel.
It's me! My brain was itching last night when the cancellation rate was at 8%. "Two more percentage points, let's go!" I said to myself before going to sleep.
Unfortunately, he can buy a new paper out of pocket change if he runs this into the ground. (Okay, not quite but 0.13% of his net wealth). Dropping Amazon will hurt him spiritually, dropping AWS will hurt him financially.
I predict it will be like Twitter. It took me a long time to pull the plug and delete the app but too many people are still on "X." Similarly, I think the ones who remain with WaPo after the dust settles will stay.
