It NEVER EVER GOES THE OTHER WAY!!!
Infuriating.
There is no third alternative.
There is NO updated info re: her confirmation hearing on the https://congress.gov website today🤦but quoting yesterday's rolls & claiming MSM "got it wrong" is an idiot spreading disinfo when reporters WERE THERE TODAY🙄
https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/01/25/us-senate-confirms-kristi-noem-secretary-homeland-security
https://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_votes/vote1191/vote_119_1_00013.htm
So *7* dems voted for Noem, and 20 for Ratcliffe🤢
If they don’t start showing some strength soon this country is in for a wicked makeover.
God I hope not.
The Democratic party has had YEARS to war game this. Not "just 4 days" since Inauguration.
https://www.project2025.org/
him brain dead and accused him of being on drugs? Gullible.
and
B) It seems like his rightward drift is downstream of his unquestioning support for Israel and in reaction the the intense (justified) criticism thereof from the left
(At least there’s a correspondence)

Those Dems must be turning right!
We'll see if they fight against Robert F. Kennedy. Though I doubt they'll even hear my phone message.
@fetterman.senate.gov
- John Fetterman
@kaine.senate.gov
- Tim Kaine
@kim.senate.gov
- Andy Kim
@shaheen.senate.gov
- Jeanne Shaheen
Is he protecting us from someone worse?
*Tim Kaine
The a is for almost the remaining letters you can figure out
To recap:
Tim Kaine still #adlif
Teen Vogue is a great news source
See several people lamenting here, but not saying they'll also let their senators hear their thoughts
This is part of democracy & representative govt - voters have a job to do, & it's more than just 1 or 2 votes/ year!
Unsurprised he ducked both Ratcliffe and Noem🙄not sure if that letter was before/after their votes.
He certainly got the political boilerplate letter down though, didn’t he?😂
Please, please stop it.
Their NAYS are in the ACTUAL Roll Call Vote
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/full-list-of-democrats-who-voted-to-confirm-trump-nominee-kristi-noem/ar-AA1xRcjI
FIRST they have to vote to finish the debate in order to move on to the confirmation vote.
THEN they vote YEA or NAY on the confirmation.
Both votes are in the Congressional Record.
MSM made a mistake, possibly an honest oops, but look at the actual description of both votes during her confirmation.
OR they are trying to DISTRACT DEMs & get US fighting over BS
Are we the party of FACTS or Bullshit? You decide.
If Republicans what to end debate. Let them do it on their on. It's not making Republicans own it Democrats vote with them.
If it doesn't make it out of debate. Then it can't move towards a vote. We are not stupid. Delay, Delay
BUT Vance did something weird. He called to bypass the quorum vote.
IF he did that after the closure vote & used the closure vote instead of a fresh vote, he changed rules mid-vote.
The actual floor vote on https://Congress.gov shows:
All these DEMs voted NO on Noem.
All DC phone numbers….
J Fetterman-202-224-4254
T Kaine……….202-224-4024
A Kim………….202-224-4744
G Peters……..202-224-6221
J Shaheen…..202-224-2841
E Slotkin………202-224-4822
if you know the person is going to pass then what's the political capital you gain/lose for your vote.
notice when the vote was close on the SoD they all voted against.
the yea vote cost us nothing but may have gained something for them back home.
get it?

Read the description for each vote recorded at her confirmation.
THIS is the actual Congressional Record not some reporter's interpretation
So people may have thought they were voting to stop debate but closing the debate ALSO was a vote for confirmation.
The 61-39 is to close the debate. 50-50 is YEA or NAY on Noem.
Side by Side has actual descriptions of each vote.
He and the rest of the Dems that vote for any of Trump's clown cabinet, picked to destroy the departments they will be heading, can go fuck themselves.
She asked plenty of great questions and MI loves her, that's why she advanced from being a Representative to a Senator.
She is most assuredly not the fucking problem.
She won on the ticket Trump won on and that shit is compelling to me as it pertains to our future and getting what we need to continue thriving as a state.
Say what you want but at least John James isn't in that seat.
It was stupid of me though, guess I wiped from my mind that it was Mike Rodgers who won the R primary and we almost had instead
@andykimnj.bsky.social
@fetterman.senate.gov
@elissaslotkin.bsky.social
And the rest can't even bother to be on here.

But for the love of our country
WTAF??????
Two roll call votes in the record
In order to have the actual vote they had to vote to close the debate
THAT is where these DEMs show up
In the actual confirmation vote, they are solid NAYs
NOT sure

It would be an easy mistake to make.
https://www.congress.gov/congressional-record/volume-171/issue-15/senate-section/article/S368-1
Bet he was carried home
After the celebration
If you go to https://Congress.gov you can look at both of them.
I didn't pull up Hegseth
All of these votes are negotiated with leadership.
You keep your powder dry. You vote with practicality. If she was going through anyway, party line votes easily weaponized.
There are some good Dems who supported her.
I want to know why.
And that includes Va, Pa and NJ, if it looks like the vote is going through sometimes they cast zombie or fake votes to appeal to the independents in their states. But when their vote counts they vote the right way. It’s pragmatic and smart.
How does anyone still work for Fetterman?
BUT
every one of these was elected by the MAJORITY of their state to represent that MAJORITY: so why aren't they? Why do they choose to vote w/ their state's minority?
Read the descriptions of the actual Congressional Record
To me, that is a different argument.
We need to be doing this, too. We need to reorient their agent software to broadly voice OUR dissent in real time.
If you have any know-how & bandwidth to help, comment below.

As soon as he was elected he voted for a proud dog killer. Will never trust him again.
