After 6 months of work, 4 VCRs, and an official translation, I am pleased to share my RF rip of Yukio Ninagawa's staging of Euripides's Medea, a tape which has never been transferred. https://archive.org/details/ojo.media.-aka.-medea.-1984.480p.-vhsrip.-flac.-2.0.x-264-boys-rback-in-town

Also, I have to correct myself: Using the .mkv file, VLC auto-selects the subtitles, using Media Player you have to select them yourself.
Doing good work.
Kudos.
Any recommendations for guides on steps post decode? I've been able to get captures going and decode, but stalled wrapping it all up.

I'm looking to encode them to something Plex can process to share and maybe burn some Blu-ray discs for family to store long term.
Rest in peace to the VCRs that didn't make it
thank you so so so so so much!! i'll forever be grateful to you, random guy on my puter ❤️
It's been TOO long since I watched the Pasolini version. Think I'll have a Medea marathon over the holiday.
