I just had the sloppiest bowl of chili served to me by a woman who went straight from serving to bedazzling the t-shirt she was going to wear to her birthday trip to the shooting range with her mom. WISCONSIN!!!

God I love Wisconsin. On a recent trip visiting, I was lucky enough to snag a bedazzled hat with script “Super Bitch” and some rosettes on it from the apparel section of a small gas station.
In the midwestern US, where Wisconsin is located, chili is a stew typically made with ground beef, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, other vegetables, and plenty of spices. It’d be pretty normal to have a bowl of chili by itself but it’s often served with a bread side of some sort.
My generations long German catholic wisconsin family has chili to feed my 40 cousins and 20 aunts and uncles every Labor Day. The trick is to stretch it out with macaroni. It’s delicious because of the love and tradition, but not because of the spices 😅
Wisconsin sounds like it is full of amazing people. I would like to vacation there one day and try the cheese. I hear that they have the best in the nation.
Oh was that at the real chili across the street from This is It? I love that place because they've gotten me sustenance multiple times when i've been absolutely piss drunk late at night and p much nothing else is open. I live near a hop stop so it's an easy trip for me.
I feel like you are trying to sell me on Wisconsin. I, like many living in the PNW look at Wisconsin like Irish New Yorkers look at Ireland. Our grandparents moved here for a better life, but things got better back there then they did here and now we are all questioning their decision.
I ate at a place in Madison once called the Blue Plate Diner & they had the absolute best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had, then I went to a record store that was above a vacuum cleaner shop & bought a Morrissey picture disc LP for super cheap. Madison fucking rocks.

Wisconsin and Minnesota are fun like that 😂🦌🔫
I am not familiar with the US culture, so I don't really understand how a person can have a bowl of chili.
Hope you found a squeaky cheese curd
I debated an Old Fashioned, but ironically went with an Old Wisconsin instead.
So *MURICA!!* :D
It was great seeing you at UWM!
But how was the chili? ‘cause that’s what we would fight about!
Right?
Ha ha ha.
But how was the chili? The shirt?

WWMD?
In all seriousness, if you have a chance, you need to try Stella’s Spicy Cheesy Bread
