Everyone has an opinion on what a good tune is. In my 55+ community we have dances. The very old like the crooners and ballroom. The almost that old one like the Doo Wop of the 50s. Us (relatively) younger ones like the Rock of the 60s to 80s. They don't mix well. Complaints about danceability.

Story time: I was watching a Pagefire video and they always do a roundup of bands/songs that exemplify a genre before making their own attempt at the end. They literally played (at most) 1 second of "Sex Beat" (by Sex Beat) and that one second of their tone got me rushing out to find the track.
