The CDC is jealous of me and knows I love lemon poppyseed muffins, but sometimes they really push the edge of the envelope when it comes to spiteful attacks.
I CAN spot the five ticks, btw, so the joke is on them.
I once worked for a couple of months in the same building as the Swedish CDC. The "no lab coats in the lunch room" signs next to the salad bar at the cafeteria are seared into my mind.

Guys, baking the muffins will kill any ticks on them. You can kill ticks on clothes by running them through a dryer for a few minutes, so oven baking will definitely do it. Just don't let anyone sprinkle fresh ticks on the muffins after they're done.
