Whack your boss 2024 edition with more scenes, more gore and plenty of execs/COOs/CEOs to brutally murder for their criminal actions as a way to relieve stress
someone get to work on this! fuck all of them if they go against you, shows exactly who they are
Hi all! I’m raising funds to help my family and give the kids a Christmas they’ll always remember. Your support—through a donation or sharing this link—means so much to us. Thank you for helping bring joy to our holiday season! 💖
I tried to find some on https://itch.io, and I found a yandere romance/horror vn about a CEO instead. So you could say that modern indie devs are unhinged in an entirely different way. 😅
I played Plague from there, and then i was paying close attention to the news in February 2020...I felt the game prepared me for what was coming. Weird, huh.
The cultural shift from free-to-play browser flash games to microtransactional mobile games was one of the most consequential mistakes in the history of new media
where did this ridiculous statement even come from? also ransomware was very easy to get rid of lmfao well i guess for people who actually decided to learn how computers work.
I podcasted for 8 years to an audience of 6 and a half people, somebody else can do it, I'm done podcasting. But maybe I can make it a 137 part tiktok series
Nah, Flash was hot garbage at the end, full of security and performance issues. I've written documents of complaints about it over the years on my Facebook lmao
Have you wonder figured maybe the "elite" want the "sheep" to believe they are awake so they will storm the offices and then Marshall law will be in affect? Very similar scenario as seen in V for Vendetta.
That's the spirit!!
That's how you get the ball rolling. Somebody else is gonna go "but I have a better one" and so on and so forth and that's how you get those topical mini games out there
You got a point there, we were unhinged AF in the 2000s and while it won't fly today since culture changes as nature intends it to, it was something to behold.
Give it time. A bunch of influential pricks heard a CEO had been killed for causing unnecessary suffering and their first thought was, "Hey, let's bring back Polio."
Brain immediately started droning "strawberry clock is the king of the portal" and had to come to terms with the knowledge that I'm still there in spirit.
Really depends on how you wanna rank them, like you could just go by wealth/netwealth, or by level of influence they bought, such as with think tanks and propaganda content like with Prager U, could go by number of deaths associated with them, or how much they stole from us. lots of options~
There are some good CEOs out there that don’t torture people in the hospital with cancer, or turn people into opioid addicts, or try to destabilize our government. Not in Trump’s circle, but they are out there somewhere…
Sure, problem is however if they are a running a public company they have a responsiblity to shareholders, a fiduciary responsibility by law, so they might be good at heart, but they exist within a deeply corrupted and rotten economic profit model that demands infinite growth in a finite universe.
In a just world schoolchildren today would be finding their way around firewalls to play said games in their most boring classes. We've fallen so far as a society
Does Newgrounds still have Trump in a Blender? Man, they used to have a new "hit" game on every rising celeb or pop icon. No wonder I'm desensitized.
Oh wait, I got here over a long progression not a single game.
The wellspring of creativity that I saw from amateur flash developers on kongregate can't be found in a similar sense now. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.
I'm just curious, was Luigi only able to pull off what he did based on luck? Now, everyone is on high alert, and will have security...could people try similar things or not?
I got my account locked on the other site for asking if Witty (the new UHC CEO) should be worried about his safety since he intends to continue with the same denial of claims policy.
Can't we build small games like that and just put it on itch? I just haven't got such an idea so far. I don't care about American CEO, but we have our problems in my country 🤔
Omggg there used to be a game that simulated going on a killing spree and murdering ur boss on new grounds what a blast from the past.... times were crazy.
btw for anyone looking to relive the Flash glory days, check out the Flashpoint Archive, an effort to preserve that era of (totally peak) gaming and web animation!
The literal next post I saw after this was for a new one-page TTRPG that's *definitely* not about hunting down a CEO. It might not be a flash game but the spirit is still alive and well!
To a lesser extent, the Whack your ____ games were very popular. Absolutely would see something like that. Thor of PirateSoftware often laments about how sad he is to see so little creativity these days, and encourages people to make the games of their dreams.

It's what I work with now coming from a Flash background

Now?
It does.
… guys?
Crypto eliminated the need for western union accounts and cayman island banks.
It’s only of any use to scumbags.
what’s your point?

They're bite sized catharsis.
But can't be compared to the sensory satisfaction of having agency over a silly system a 15 year old did in a few weeks.
That's how you get the ball rolling. Somebody else is gonna go "but I have a better one" and so on and so forth and that's how you get those topical mini games out there
But I am willing to learn.
It ain't the same for sure. But we can only hope (?
Oh wait, I got here over a long progression not a single game.
Curious.

Hitman series is great! But it's not what I'm talking about exactly here.
They have already made kids rich
better than a frog
It stands to reason that a sudden influx of CEO murder simulators would stop CEO murderers in their tracks.
So, I think what I'm trying to say is...
Oh well.
We're in the 24th, soon to be 25th, year of the 2000's. Do you mean the 'Noughties', I think they're called?
Goodo! 👍
Still like frog in the blender. (SUCK. MY. BALLS.)
