I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: an administration (and its supporters) who believe that they are not limited by the rule of law have no moral or philosophical claim to the protection of the rule of law. “The law is whatever we say it is” warrants the same in response.

This is why the states that have judgements in their favor should enforce those judgements by arresting or seizing the assets of the principals with their police forces and national guard.
While it is not clear (to me; IANAL) that this is constitutional, it is clearly a […]
Not asking for blood, but should be funny to make them drink their own medecine twice:
Once with gun violence
Twice with no legal remedy to gun violence...
Be a real shame if something happened to those wallets.
We can get all American about it too.
Go Dems - you give those side glances real hard !!!
And they only have power because of the people they pay to enforce it on their behalf.
Without those people they have nothing. They can hide in a bunker and shit themselves until they eat a bullet. That's about it.
Multiple times in the last 15 years the US has had its credit rating down graded because of Republican fuckary.
Now this. Fuckary just for fucks sake.
Don’t pay your taxes
I very politely apologized that I was unable to provide the psychological help that he needed then threw him to the block list.
Half of Congress, Scotus, and the executive branch do not care about the law so nobody else under there power should be bound to it either.
Can't wait until a defense attorney comes up with a clever not guilty plea based on that sort of idea.
It would have been bad but look where we are now.
Something something if democrats ever do anything remotely breaking with precedent even in unprecedented times they’re basically the same as MAGA I am very smart and principled
William Roper: “Yes, I'd cut down every law in England to do that!”
More: “Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned 'round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat?”
Also this is the United States so no they don't.
England had all the military might.
I’ll risk it. Bring it on.
Give me liberty, or give me death.
How many Vietnamese, Afghanis and Koreans died?
How many people died in WWI? WWII?
Should we have just said “fuck it” and kept slavery, stayed colonies, and let Germany conquer the world?
How many people will die if we let Trump conquer the country? Do they not matter?
What kind of shitty coward would rather live under tyranny than die free?
You should run for office as a Democrat, you Vichy lapdog.
I bought handgun at Cal-ranch about 40 minutes.

If I break the law, I shouldn’t expect laws to protect me or my rights.
Right?
A man who cannot be charged with murder can be murdered without charge.
The judiciary and the legislature were formed for this purpose by Republicans, and by Heritage Foundation.
One I'll be joining as I agree with you.
Remember MAGAs bleating "liberalism is a mental disease/disorder"
There are no "free people(liberals)" when everyone's a slave to nature
he doesn't deserve any presumption of regularity from the courts or from citizens
They think they are creating an autocracy.
But they are really headed to anarchy.
The US has no infrastructure or traditions that support autocracy, and they are not creating them. I think they just assume autocracy is the default.
But Trump has a long history of being terrible to the military and making the job of policing harder. He'll have *some* of them but a lot won't be willing to put their lives on the line for him.
The police are a problem though. While they won't necessarily do the Administration's bidding explicitly, most of them seem to be bullies who really resent the recent push to keep the police from randomly abusing people. They could certainly do a lot of harm to the fight against facism.
For better, and for worse, law enforcement is VERY decentralized in our country. Every department has its own bosses, culture and priorities. There are numerous cases of conflict (occasionally deadly) between agencies.
People can get caught in the crossfire when different LEAs have different goals and start throwing bullets.

If, however, the law binds us all equally, I will obey because that is what living in a society is all about.
They far outnumber the goons. They should use the holiday on Monday to take action. They literally have nothing to lose.
They could take back our government and take out the thieves.
As FOTUS said, "We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore,"
We the people have to fight back
America, wake up & fight like HELL!! Facism is here..
