It’s the best tv experience because you only have to pay attention for the 11 minutes of actual play time.
It’s the worst live sports experience because you have to be there the other 150 minutes, waiting for those 11 minutes to be played.

It really is amazing that despite being the worst live sport experience and best TV experience, NFL stadiums are constantly mobbed

4 hours of sitting on hard bleachers in a hothouse to watch 3 races spread out evenly over those 4 hours, with a aggregate actual racing time in those races of two minutes, 37 seconds.
Hmmm. Which shall it be?
I had a look at what you post.
Inane 'humour'.
Definitely a block.
It’s always a great time at Sofi to root on my Rams.
I only watch any Super Bowl for its commercials…
And I cannot watch, but only listen, to most sports because when I watch? My teams lose.
It’s not crazy if it works!
But those 11 minutes of magic are all I need
GO EAGLES
Rollerball, 1975 is my favorite.
It is such an odd game of contrasts: moments of athletic brilliance, moments of fat lads running into each other and sometimes both things happen at once.
I cant imagine going to watch a game live I would fall asleep.
There seems to be so much time when nothing is happening that fans in the stadium need to be kept engaged.
Baseball and to a degree Basketball are much better Radio sports than tv sports.
these last few years ive taken to watching Premier league soccer, no commercials and no breaks other than 1/2 time and in that league an extremely high level of athleticism.

I'm surprised you don't get that Mark.
That said, I’ll take top soccer, whether in-person or at home. Done in under two hours with a running clock. Better product.
The stadiums are just glorified TV studios. You can be in the studio audience for a sitcom taping for free.
Another problem with the NFL in stadium experience is all the timeouts. Possibly 12 timeouts in a game. Same with the NBA. Quit talking and play.
I mean seriously, just watch the highlight reels
People who say "#AmericanFootball is all action" are literally insane
It's more boring than cricket
(it is now considerably less than it was)
Oh, and how they did Kap dirty.
...And being a Jet fan.
I have only watched 7 games in the last 3 years and almost half of them were Super Bowls.
If management can't be bothered to make an effort to win, why am I spending my money on their team?
You’re so good at breaking down nuance in areas you’re actively working disruption for good (CPD), but are intentionally oversimplistic when posting what you did here.
It’s more than the 11-12m of live play.
You live near two NFL CEO’s. Talk w/ them!
Give me basketball and hockey, any sport but American football with its limited movement, over-regulation, pumped-up scoring and knucklehead culture.
The way we consume information has changed, we're very much an instant gratification society now, so shorter-form content (including sports) are inevitably more popular.
It's why highlights are popular.
I accept that clearly I’m not representative of the general population. I really find nfl broadcasts frustrating and boring
Yes, they did not pay.. but No.. they did...
talk about the gun that can't shoot straight!
Oh.. PREFACE .. NFL owners demand new $$$$ stadiums or they'll leave.
"What's the best part of winning a game?"
He answered: "The 10 minutes before the adrenaline wears off and the pain and soreness set in."
The players should earn, but how the NIL is but makes every year nearly a new roster and you don't get the same attachment to the players that make the team.
Less emotional attachment = less watching investment = less hype
You must own a basketball team.
almost 50% of the game, no commercial breaks, and proper tackle technique
I don’t want to pay the exorbitant prices to attend a live game. TV works fine for me.
Same happens with soccer, if you love the game or the team its a great experience to be there with everyone.
I dont understand people that go to game and leave early because of traffic, why?
So much better.
Unfortunately rugby instances are hell bent on making it more like football.
