Based on the replies to this you’d think a significant portion of the country are leftists rather than like 1/5 the size of the national association of realtors

If you use the term "liberal" as a personal or ideological slur it might make you seem in and cool to your lefty mutuals but it is destructive to any broader coalition building that might help the left flank build political power so really it's all about what your goals are

Jesus christ, they aren't even trying to hide their inner brown shirts.
A bit like those pea-brained guys that think trump doing "peace" "talks" with kim or talibans is diplomacy at work because conferences *tend* to be a sign of civility.
People are so down the rabbit hole that they trust none, except they still absorb random bits from whoever can give the right selfrighteous vibes - thus forgetting that since the dawn of man the first utter moron you should distrust is your own self.
The first thing I saw in Pristina was a lady liberty standing on the roof of a fridge repair place, they'd a 200ft picture of Bill down the side of a building on Bill Clinton boulevard

I’m on the left. Farther left than many. But I don’t just stand with people who believe what I do.
I stand with the people who don’t want to live in a fascist America.
That’s a lot of people. That can do something.
People believe in things beyond just economically. My relatives aren't fundamentalist because of any millionare-they chose to believe in reactionary theology.
I'm tired of people screaming "you won't join my coalition" from all these different sides, instead of ... joining a coalition
