And the cover is all the Avengers screaming "We must kill Spider-Man -- or the world ends!!"

Is that when you take a video that someone made up and prove it's actually true?

I think audiobooks are great and a fantastic way to experience a story. I love them!
As someone who interprets language in a more rigid, literal sense, I don't think they can be considered "reading", though, as I have seen people argue. (But again, no shade on listeners - myself included!)

I mean, it's a good idea but there's been plenty times where I've joined an interesting thread but would never follow the OP because 99% of the other stuff they post isn't something that appeals to me

I feel like we might be using multiverse to mean shared universe?
In case we're not, I do think that using a multiverse (different versions of same settings or characters) to introduce new ideas or characters into the main universe is narratively lame

Piano Lessons was one of a handful of the books that actually scared me as a kid, the UK cover for it didn't help either

I remember K W Jeter's Bounty Hunter Trilogy being stupendously bad, but i enjoyed a lot of the EU books. I think a lot of authors didn't really know what to do with stoic jedi master Luke so he was usually boring but all of my favourite characters are from the EU

I really liked Greedfall, helped to fill the hole left by Veilguard not having been announced yet. A few of the locations and quests in Veilguard actually remind me of Greedfall quite a bit

I say re-normalize expansion packs, whole extra stories 1/3 - 1/2 the length of the main game, like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring have done

I got to the part where Morrigan introduces her special guest and I'm like "who's that?"
He says "I'm John Inquisition" and i remembered just giving up trying to make him look anything like my Inquisitor at all lol

Imo if a player uses a guide for decision making on tne first playthrough, they're not really experiencing the game...no shade if that's what someone wants to do but a big part of the thrill of these games is making your own calls and seeing what happens! Second playthroughs are for perfect runs lol

I'm about 20 hours in, for me it had a bit of a shaky start but I'm having a lot of fun! Although -- and this is just imo -- the dialogue and narration are the worst of the series by far.
