QUESTION:
If you have ADHD, do you have illegible, messy, scrawl handwriting? Or do you have pretty okay penmanship?

ask anyone who’s ever edited me—my copy is pretty clean, but when andy reid signs a receiver to the Kansas City chiefs all bets are off
It's legible, though. Just messy.
And I write in cursive, so doubly so
If it's used in math/physics notation, it's in point.
Everything else: shrug
(though my sister is a kindergarten teacher and that's almost required)
I hyper focused on it for like 3 weeks the first time. haha
I could have done with knowing that the past 35 years only found out about it a year ago
So now if I see anyone talking about their handwriting and adhd I always mention something about dysgraphia in case it helps anyone else.
Here's what my creative writing looks like:
it was pretty legible before i started going out of my way to improve it, but definitely very messy.
For 20+ years I've relied on the fact that I type fast and well to make me feel better about it
raging ADHD
but i was also made to just sit and write letters, then words, then sentences over and over and over and over in elementary school. I don't think my kids ever had it drilled into them quite like we did
Improvement, not pretty, I can be legible, prefer to type.
my shit looks like chicken scratches
That said-
📐My printing was trained in architectural drafting class-quite readable
✒️My cursive is a bit sloppy but legible enough
✏️My taking note kibble is pure chaos.
