A good snake, sure of his snake identity, probably doesnβt care, except maybe legs are tasty? Like the legs on frogs. I once saw a garter snake with a frog it is mouth, I thought, as a child, what a funny sight. The frog didnβt struggle.
As a self-proclaimed (and also proclaimed by many others) serpent, the answer is a resounding yes. I do. I am perfectly willing to admit that others may disagree. But really, who cares what a mammal thinks.
Did you ever see cobras fighting, They tend to stand up vertically as much as they can. What do you suppose they think when they see a whole species walking around vertically?

iirc they evolved from having legs to not having legs. So it's certainly not that they *dont* think legs are stupid, but we might have to just ask one.
They're probably more focused on day-to-day survival than higher intellectual thoughts, IF they're even capable of higher intellectual thoughts at all.
As the owner of a Western Hognose, I don't think there's much "thought" behind those eyes. At least he's cute, even if he has about the same brain capacity as the rock he sleeps under. : P
Snakes are endowed with an all consuming envy from the moment they wriggle out of the eggshell. They despise their own wretched existence and, deprived as they are of the divine image of god, covet our extinction. Thus, the garden, and the First Sin. these guys would do anything for legs
Well, yes and no. They think legs are dumb(and certainly not a sleek as thir beautiful bellies), but they may also see them as a thing to bite, so it depends on the snake I imagine...
I think they aren't a popular choice for a reason. Also, the ecdysis process is a bitch as it is; I can see why throwing legs into the mix isn't exactly tempting.
I think they laugh at legged creatures. A herd or something will go by and one snake will turn to the other and say, βThere they goβ¦ on their legs! *snort*β and the other snake will laugh too
Many flightless birds evolved in places without much topographic relief and relatively few trees, while others evolved in New Zealand with lots of relief. Iβm guessing some have no concept of heights and others donβt care. Did they become flightless because their ancestors were afraid of heights?
I've never been a snake, but I've often thought that legs are a pretty egregious design flaw, so yeah, snakes probably think legs are stupid. They probably wonder why we didn't evolve wheels instead.
I felt a snakes abs once. He told me too. It was impressive. I got the feeling he thought my muscle tone was inadequate. Iβm pretty sure heβd have the same thought about excess appendages. They just slow us down. Legs are definitely inferior.

I am convinced they are just fine without limbsβ¦.
Theyβre very jealous of arms.
They were very disappointed upon finding out the reality of slides.
They still think heels are sexy.

So sorry about that.
pants are annoying

Am I overthinking this post? Yes, do I care? No.

Me walking along, minding my own business:
