i heard somewhere else, specifically Hagen’s Fish Market on Montrose, which confused the masses into thinking he was a Cubs fan since it’s been on the North Side since 1946 and his family drove there for fish every Friday during Lent - explaining his brothers need to make a statement.
Come on now. I looked him up as soon as I found out who the new Pope was. He was born & raised on the far South Side of Chicago. That makes him a Sox fan. We have a dividing line. The further North or South you live determines your baseball team.
When I heard he was from the south side I truly wondered if he was a cub fan. I’m a cub fan from the south side but I have lots of family and friends that are Sox fans. Doesn’t matter to me. He’s the first American Pope and he’s from Chicago. That’s awesome.
I can't believe any Pope would support a team owned by millionaires, with millionaire players, who literally held the city hostage (Threatening to leave) till that city paid for their new stadium with tax payers dollars.
It's just too evil.
Just imagine that your sibling is ELECTED POPE and within a couplea two tree hours you're correcting the record, calling news orgs being like "Yeah no dat guy der isa Sax fan."
I would 100% do this to my brother if he were elected pope. People would probably be talking more about "that guy isn't even catholic," but I'm here for the fuckery either way.
Nah, the parallels are insane between Church and Sox are insane
An ancient institution mired in scandal, losing popularity because a result of a board of elders is unwilling to listen to devote fans that are driven by an odd mix of tradition and guilt
Google translate is bad at Latin. It has 'vendere' in the infinitive, but it should be imperative. My dictionary has 'turma' for team. So "Turmam vende".
