'Reports indicate the aircraft experienced a flap actuator failure, causing a hard landing that led to the plane overturning near the runway.'
1) never heard of that before
2) apparently no fatalities
So much mixed emotions.
Wow.
I’ll never forget how kind they were to the Americans that had to land there during 911. I’ve been there many times and they have always been gracious. We are blessed to have them as neighbors.

Article above in comments.
No matter, I’ll never see a post by them again unless they make a new account
When will it end!????
or something right? The wing is f****** gone!
I’m just glad nobody died but they did say some are in critical condition. It’s frigging awful
So mechanical failure during landing
( @aircananda.bsky.social & West Jet, I'm absolutely looking at you, too!)
I've been in a dozen planes, never rode upside down
On a lighter note, Go Home plane, you're drunk.
Also it may have been the ice. I slip on the ice all the time. It was probably the ice.
Come on. Do better.
Ugh
It's not perfect... but it's pretty supported by gov't and courts.
Thankfully no one died
Crazy
I did click on the article
Hope Elon has fucked up my flight.

Not suggesting wind caused it, but it's possibly played a role
https://weather.gc.ca/en/location/index.html?coords=43.655,-79.383 gives a current wind speed of 51km/h with gusts to 64km/h .... and that seems quite strong.
(Ultralight flying gave me a new appreciation for the power of wind.)
This is the kind of reporting we've come to expect.
TITS UP!!
It flipped over. Notice how the underside of the plane, including the landing gear, are in the goddamn air?
Has journalism devolved to such a state that one cannot state clear and obvious facts anymore?
Toronto was reporting gusts of 33 knots at the approximate time of landing.
Max Crosswind component for this aircraft is 30 knots.
WHOOPS.🛬
I'll take Proper Nouns for the Entire Linguist populace. ?
Alex?

1. It says Delta on the plane
2. The plane is upside down
That would appear to be the case😂

It might be an isolated incident, but it's awfully 'coincidental' that a US carrier has an accident w/in a short amount of time.

Those words imply that you aren't 100% sure. LOOK AT THE DAMN LANE—IT'S UPSIDE DOWN!
(Checked to make sure all accounted before making a joke.)
Everyone ok? 😳
