This is utterly repellent language from Starmer’s government.

that Labour have shifted the overton window so far to
the right that even Streeting’s shock proof watch is embarrassed
A Tory. Transphobic. Ableist. And many more but centre left.. pull the other one.
I really despise the bloody lot of them!!
Diplomatic niceties are necessary, this from Streeting isn't.

"Move fast & break things" is not government.
There is no "centre-left" way to cut disability benefits, nor implement any of the half-baked ideas inspired by Trump.
Made worse by their attempts to reduce the impact with praise for hard working front line staff. Who they then unexpectedly unplanned sack 50% of.
It’s possible to work for a saint or a devil.
It’s impossible to work for someone who randomly switches between the two.

But the language from number 10 comms is horrendous.

Ripping the copper out of the walls and tearing apart the country is a lot easier than enacting positive change.
You are out of touch. People do not think Keir Starmer is working "too slowly", they see him as the Tory cunt he is.
I'm all for civil service reform and don't believe they have any intention of replicating Trump/Musk, but this kind of stuff will only undermine the public understanding of what they're doing and alienate civil servants.
To get the Tories out of power you need to get them out of the Labour Party too.

Even most of the Tories I know hate Trump and Musk.
This is what happens when we entrust power to people who've been caught on camera having dinner parties with fascists everyone in the media held up as experts on populist hatred.
They all agree with one another.
Btw, if you haven't got the hang of alt text yet, you really need to - if you're sharing a screenshot, it takes about 10-15 seconds to copy and paste the text into the right field, and many, many people need that to be able to access your posts.
But I don't see this option in the Bluesky app, no.
Again: shouldn't take more than about 15 seconds for the average screenshot of text.
This might take up to a minute of their time.
Accessibility is easily worth a minute.
It's strength depends upon Leaders advocating for Citizens and negotiating in good faith to seek acceptable solutions.
Nothing simple or easy there!
Integrity is essential for all involved or it's not possible

That's either deeply naive or total BS.
Trump does not have a "political tradition", he's a clueless narcissist with no plan beyond getting attention. And if you look at historical leaders who have acted like trump we all know what "political traditions" we find.
There must someone in Labour who could help him
Yeah yeah he more ruthless than meets the eye but you can’t win the next election by pissing of the -already thinned out- people that can help to make a positive change for the voters, elementary
That leads me to the wider question who do think is first politician to address the elephant herds in the room: tax increase
The older one’s remember the pre 1989 days of high tax
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Who’s he trying to kid?
#LabourClassTraitors
#LabourSoldItsSoul

I didn't realise punishing people for existing was left wing.
Has he caught some sort of brain disease from his time with Trump?
This government was elected to improve society.
It needs to stop punching down and start embracing positive change to reduce the gap between the wealthy and those who need support.
.. Tax the wealthy! 🤷♂️
Both have been very smooth and have outwardly socially liberal exteriors in different ways, but Starmer is in some ways playing even to the right of Cameron.
He appears to be conveniently overlooking the latter half of "move fast and break stuff"
But *what is it* that you want them to do? As far as I can see the only instructions are
- grow the economy whilst keeping BJ’s EU deal
- improve public services while cutting budgets
- build more houses without enough labour in the market
As we thought, not actually a democrat.
