I have 13 cats, and unfortunately I lost 34 cats during the war from bombing and missiles and from hunger as well. I am a cat lover and I was the person who adopted cats the most and cared for them. There are only 13 cats left and unfortunately they all became psychologically ill because of
the situation and now I have been moving them from one city to another for two years. I really hope you stand by me, my family and my cats.

The sign was on the door to my friend Smallsβ room. He has been there for a long time. π’ He can be shy with new people but once he trusts you heβs a total love bug.
Will whoever adopts Smalls get that sign? It'd make a great memento; however, it might be better for the shelter to hold on to it for future use for other critters in need of adoption >^..^<
What a handsome silken gentleman! Iβve had cats with food allergies for well over a decade now. It means all our cats eat the allergy food, and they like it. I read ingredients on wet foods, and as theyβre all picky in different ways, it can take trial and error. Completely worth it.
You know, if anyone is trying to tell you cats who eat medical diet food are too expensive, my little three legged stray ate a metre of florist ribbon which cost 3k ( friday nite emerg), and a mop which was only 2.5k (a tuesday afternoonπ ) . So just adopt the cat who needs the dang allergy food π π
Exactly. Fuzzybutt was free from my backyard, other than the $800 vet bill for tests, shots, and ten days boarding while he got healthy enough after his cut to get his shots. The limited ingredient diets are high quality so they all tend to be healthier in general.
I had a few friends tell me we should have euthanized her, which made me a bit upset for a few minutes. We don't have kids, I'm not wrecking someone's chance at college or anything π also, we knew it was a single physical blockage vs a complex painful disease, it felt wrong not to try
He sure seems more like a good good good good good good good good good good good boy to me but once you get past the 5th good it's all cherries on top (of your biscuits) anyway.
Reminds me of the 100th day of school in 1st grade when we had to write a sentence and draw a picture about what we'd be doing in 100 years. I wrote that I'd be dead and drew myself as an angel in the clouds.
All my cats are adopted. Some after they just walked in by themselves. It's like they adopted me. There are two furry faces here now, and me. πΈπΈπ
The one sitting up came after someone dumped him and tried to kill him. He bolted. After a few weeks he showed up underneath my porch. He is a very kind soul, but easily scared.
The other one needed a new home. She was afraid of high sounds, and they were about to have a baby.
When I worked at Austin Pets Alive, an elementary school student came in to write poems about some of our FeLV+ cats to help them find homes. Some were, of course, more successful than others. π»
Way back, when my oldest was 8-9y/o and in his spy era, he would make βreport cardsβ for our APA foster kittens. They would get lessons in βsneakingβ, βhidingβ and βobstacle courseβ, etc and their results would be provided for their potential adopters when they finally went to cattery.
I was reminded that I fell in love with Meeps during my first session as a cat socializer at the SFSPCA. I walked out to find this scrawled on the sidewalk by a kid who had been visiting on a field trip. It worked! She was adopted within a few days.
...... my pet was threatened with destruction if..
someone took her, and found someone to take her when they where no longer able to keep up with her needs..
That sign should have been up when I was adopting my Sophie. I was choosing between two, and they said "Please take her, she's miserable here." When I went in, she was glaring at me from the corner. 6 years later and we've both changed for the better.

Seriously, great that you were able to do that for her! >^..^<
She is such a MANIAC. pure Id. Aspirational. π π
Signed, Mom who had to help craft protest signs for all her stuffed cats when she learned about income taxes.
Took them 12 years to figure out I'm autistic.
