I need to make dinner.
Again.
Every night. Dinner.
Who came up with that?

Second upside is I get to have anything I want for breakfast.
Laundry is kind.
Dusting is dull and easy to forget.
Vacuuming is a real drag.
Bathtub cleaning is the root of all evil.
I’m an egg person. They are so versatile.
On menu for the near future: Ham salad. Ham. Ham loaf. Ham. Soup made with ham bones. Ham.
So, we had our lessons...
Like whining about paying bills vs earning or not being able to pay them.
Try being diabetic and choosing food only with low carbs.
You get to make dinner. You're alive with food.
THIS IS BULLSHIT! I DEMAND TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER!!
Each of us kids, when growing up, took turns cooking. Mum did the bulk, but Friday night was my turn.
SOMETIMES YOU GOTA' SAY F_CK IT.
It’s good for ya.
Fuck dinner lol.
Makes a huge difference, especially being in our mid-60s and hitting the gym every other day. We’re tired by 4’oclock. 🙃
They could have been on one of those Starving Hunger commercials...let them tell the story!
It worked and they learned how to fin for themselves.
In single family homes, sometimes 1 person does the majority of the cooking for dinner, but often it's a shared responsibility My mother required all 5 of us siblings to take turns cooking, setting the table, and cleaning up after dinner each day from age 6.
Btw: I still remember my university co-op (and its shared cooking & meals) as the best time in my life.
Any Crammies here?
Every. Single. Day.
I don’t know how my mom did it all those years.
Says the German that is cooking dinner for their kiddos.
I wish we could get our energy from something like radiation.
One gram of radium emits enough radioactive energy to supplement our total caloric needs from food, if we could absorb and process it.
Or photosynthesizing energy could be fun.

I know we do what we gotta do though.
There, I turned off the lights, now it’s better.
Not that I would recommend them as ones only source of calories, but they have a use case.
Use it to sneak us in the back 😉
We've seen a systematic dismantling of the ease of food towards the poor in the same years that those in power needed to oppress those who were demanding civil rights.
Bring back the Automat!
Easing inscecently is a new thing, and totally unnecessary.
Zen in making dinner. Putting fresh food together to create a nourishing, healthy meal to sustain the physical body. Treat it as a spiritual practice & you’ll soon learn to love it.

Other nights? A pork chop or burger patty.
And barely 2’ wide on the outside. No batch cooking can be done if you want to keep stables too. It sucks
Every day. Every night.
Wash them. Dry them.
It. Never. Stops.
I'm considering the carbon footprint of that versus washing up small loads every night.
He might make a grilled cheese for himself, and I am happy to dive in to a big-ass bowl of cereal, with avocado toast for dessert.
Briefly.
...of whom I am one.

We all know that Breakfast for Dinner was a result of a tired person staring at the fridge and screaming I give up…
I'm having a pb&j and a glass of milk.
Anytime is a good time for a pb&j and a glass of milk
I feel your pain. Alas, we must endure and abide.
All my strength to you. :)
