I've pivoted from being aghast at that drop, to feeling bad for Andrews, to being angry that we didn't get an absolutely incredible overtime period btwn these two QBs. Real emotional roller coaster over here!

I’m a lifelong Chiefs fan, but I respect no one more than the Bills and their great fans. I hope it’s a great game (they usually really are) and if it can’t be us, then I’ll be pulling for them. AFL represent!
The bills who famously lost 4 super bowls in a row... Boy they really really need this game.. just would be so brutal to lose again. good luck out there
KC is almost definitely not gonna gift the Bills 3 unforced turnovers. Not to say that Bills can't win, but they're gonna have to play better than this if they want a ring.
Ultimately I'm for anything but the boring but inevitable 3peat
With a minute and a half and timeouts, we might have gotten a game ending and winning field goal from the Bills, and not overtime. When Lamar connected deep on the TD pass, my first thought was "too soon."
they were in a really poor position (of their own making) with the clock no matter what. could have tried to score with no time left but they had to get it in without being that cute
If it makes you feel better I am convinced that Alan is so good, that that matchup was not a lock to make it to overtime just because Andrews makes the catch. Alan is good enough to get to feel the range in 93 seconds. No guarantee but a real possibility for the Bills to answer there.
What is the legacy impact for Allen if he loses? Mahomes built the equity but if Josh loses the MVP vote and loses to Mahomes, what is he? What is Lamar with 3 MVPs?… if Josh beats Mahomes how much does he vault?? So many questions lol 😂
The media never learns ....the bills season will end next Sunday evening at arriwhead and then the media will switch to the nfc team as the 1 who will beat the chiefs in the super bowl ...of course that won't happen either 🏆🏆🏆
I think weather played a factor- slick ball, slick field. The Bills have plenty of experience in those conditions, but maybe the Ravens weren’t as ready for it. Harbaugh was saying they couldn’t use their practice field because it was frozen? Not sure what he expected for the game…
Wait. You thought about something for a little bit and changed your mind, instead of religiously clinging to your first instinct. Are you sure social media is for you?
Let’s be clear: An Andrews catch wouldn’t have forced overtime; a missed FG attempt by Bass would have. With 1:33 left, the Bills were going to get the ball into FG range.
Even if they had gotten the two points Allen had time and timeouts to get into field goal range. That doesn’t help Andrews right now though, of course. He’s gotta be going through it
OT wasn't going to happen, if Andrew caught Bills had plenty of time for a game winning field goal. If Ravens fans want to blame someone, they should blame that turnover machine under center.
Clown take. You can make case for Lamar or Allen. Choosing one over the other doesn’t make anyone a fraud. By the way, MVP talks by fanboys always get weird. #NFL #NFLMVP #Bills #BillsMafia #Ravens
You may be left leaning, but you're being a total twitter sports d-bag right now. I know it's hard breaking that sports a-hole habit, but I promise you it's doable. You can engage in sports back and forth without the name calling. Before you accuse me of the same, I'm only describing your behavior.
Josh and Lamar are both equally talented and in the top tier of QBs. MVP race between the two was close with both having tremendous seasons.
Ironically Burrow had a huge case too.
You did more than disagree with Mina though, you called her a fraud and declared her incapable of her job because she didn’t vote for your qb. Stop saying you simply voiced a disagreement, that’s bullshit
Highly doubt Mina will take my feedback into account though what’s clear is there is an army of people to defend her which is fucking balls. Love that for her and for everyone repping her. I was aggressive in a ‘sky?’ Though I stand by Josh >>>>> Lamar
I see a game where a team gave up three turnovers and lost by two points. Two points that should've been, but again, Lamar can't catch for other players. So, Allen must've been ballin'if his team won by two after all those mistakes.
Calling @minakimes.bsky.social a fraud. That’s about as asinine a statement as I’ve read. A fraud doesn’t work their way to becoming one of the MOST respected NFL analysts in their field.
They don’t just hand out these positions, especially to females, in a truly misogynistic system.
She picked the dude that will eventually win MVP, for MVP, so she her opinion is more accurate than yours, thus more valid than yours?
I would pick Jackson over Allen if my team was offered both.
Seems like you need that Twitter energy, you might be lost.
Andrews played a shocker of a game. Lamars two turnovers early were just plain bad too. I feel for both of them because neither played near their best.
When I saw Andrews drop the 2-point conversation, my mind went to directly to another great tight end who dropped a sure TD in Super Bowl XIII - Jackie Smith.
the ravens’ season began with “too cool to happen” on the likely TD where the front of his shoe gave refball a chance to kill something fun, and it ends on the same sour note of joylessness
Where do the ravens truly go from here though? This was the most prolific offense overall they’ve had, their defense got so much better with the Hamilton adjustment, Tucker got his leg back and yet they still fumble away the season early. Not much cap room and need some WR and secondary help
My son (away at college) and I were texting the whole game.
We both thought that the Ravens chased the extra point waaaaay too early. If they kick that PAT, then they just have to kick the PAT at the end and the Andrews play never happens.
Dude, the Bills offense was pretty non-existent in the second half -- six points (including 3 b/c of Andrews' fumble). Similar to last year's AFC Championship, the Ravens' defense made great adjustments only to be undone by their offense.
The Bills offense would have been easier to defend because it would be in obvious passing situations. Again, there's no evidence from the 2nd Half that shows that the Bills would be successful taking the lead without help from a turnover.
Very different mindset than the one that was protecting a lead. The odds of the Bills getting a FG were fairly strong at that point. I'd bet on Allen in that situation.
Given the nature of the second half, I don't think the overtime would have been that incredible. Now, maybe the Bills at halftime were lectured on run and no mistakes will equal the win, but I doubt it.
Team imploded. Harbaugh gotta shoulder a lot of the indiscipline that lingered all season long. Wonder what Saleh would look like with his MVP QB and this defense
That was tough to watch. Lamar passed it to his best receiver, it didn’t work out. I still feel bad for Andrews and the entire organization, there no way the ravens would have lost in overtime.
Feeling bad for Andrews and I hope those internet cowboys go easy on him and don't do what they usually do in those situations... I am however relieved and happy he did not catch it though...
The Ravens had 4 plays from the 2 yard line (1st and 2nd/goal, two 2PT)...Henry touched the ball once. 0 for 4. Monken got cute in the biggest moments.
Mina, there was 1:33 with two timeouts. Do you think it makes it to overtime? At home in Buffalo? I know their offense wasn’t setting the world on fire during the game but how many times has Allen ran a 2 minute offense contrary to game script to get either end of half or game scores
I can’t stop thinking if they’d kicked the extra point earlier they wouldn’t be having to go for two with the game on the line. And how do you not look to Henry on that first one with Buffalo completely gassed?
Spagnola blitz is the biggest threat in the playoffs for years now. Ask Brady and the Patriots when he was with the Giants. Dude is a genius. I don’t have a dog in the fight but Mahomes and Spagnola blitz are the reason Allen is 0-3 against the Chiefs in the playoffs.
there was 90+ seconds left... Buffalo had 3 timeouts left...even if baltimore gets that 2 pointer... thats plenty of time for Josh Allen to do Josh Allen stuff.
Another year, another round of killer self-inflicted Ravens wounds. At least they didn’t fumble at the goal line this year! I guess that counts as progress.
Apparently, you, and the rest of reporter nation completely forget that if the Ravens got the 2 pt conversion, Buffalo had 1:30 and 2 to’s left to score the winning points. They might not have but a minute and a half and 2 timeouts was plenty of time for Josh to manufacture a score. Do better!
I am just happy that we watched two great teams go toe to toe for 60 minutes without thinking about the officials. Two great games today. Players decided it on the field. Crew that did the KC game should be done for the season.
Just because you say so, does NOT make it so. The MVP voters spoke and all but one agreed with me (in fact, that sole voter is the only reason Jackson didn't win back to back UNANIMOUS MVP awards).
Incredibly exciting game but kinda sad that the Ravens lost it more than the Bills winning it. The ultra conservative offensive play calling is going to be the death of them yet.
Free Josh Allen!
you can point to a lot of moments for OT not happening but if it were up to me I’d draw your attention to that free TD the refs essentially handed the Bills at the end of the first half. That was OPI!
There was 1:30 on the clock and Buffalo had two timeouts. Even with the two point conversion to Andrews, all Buffalo needed was a 3-point kick to win and Bass was already good from 50+.
I was upset he dropped it because I desperately wanted Allen to have a shot at that last minute drive with 2 timeouts to win it. Either way, great game.
I’m really happy for the deserving Bills but likewise feel bad for Andrews. OT might have been special but often it’s an “oops” that makes a difference in great games (hello Bill Buckner!) and sadly from good players.
Thankfully we missed NFL overtime with their incredibly stupid rules. “It’s overtime but only if the first possession doesn’t lead to a touchdown. Then we immediately change it to sudden death” 🤔
that horrendous DPI call at the end of the first half wound up being crucial to the ravens’ whole game script in the second half. henry was effectively sidelined most of the 4Q while Lamar played his butt off from behind
When you turn the ball over 3 times in games like this, you don’t get to overcome that. I don’t feel bad for Andrews. The team that made more plays won. Simple.
Catching up & have been itching to ask-the Andrews drop no one could explain. Is there any possibility his diabetes could effect him more in that kind of cold? Meaning maybe his hands don't have same sensitivity? Am trying to find a plausible explanation and didn't know if that could be one? TIA
Two great teams. Too bad for Andrew's. Would like to see Buffalo beat KC. Tired of listening to my wife yell at me when I start pitching about the refs. It's out of control.
I’m most disappointed that Andrews didn’t face the postgame media… the turnovers are just sports. His “escape” speaks to his lack of accountability and selfishness. (Ravens culture?)

The refs lol). Can’t wait!

about dropping a ball.
He was shredding them.
Are you online hard, blue?
JFC
If Andrews doesn’t drop the 2 point conversion, it’s off to KC. Now enjoy the win, move on and good luck against Chiefs.
Ironically Burrow had a huge case too.
That the plan?
His account literally says he’s “glad to be off X” except not really …
Go back to Twitter Thad, that’s where you belong
Did Allen commit any?
They don’t just hand out these positions, especially to females, in a truly misogynistic system.
I would pick Jackson over Allen if my team was offered both.

Now.. Go Birds!
Anybody but the Chiefs!
Though with overwhelming sadness
We both thought that the Ravens chased the extra point waaaaay too early. If they kick that PAT, then they just have to kick the PAT at the end and the Andrews play never happens.
This one is on Harbaugh.
We should all be cheering him and Lamar from the rafters for constant amazingly greet play.
Really bad luck! 😢
That's my state right now.

I don’t doubt that Allen gets them into FG range.
Time to rest!
Cook broke that first run in the next drive, had to slide to let the clock run
He is a big reason they made it that far
Why abandon that strategy in the playoffs
Go Bills
Goodnight.
Free Josh Allen!

Feel terrible for Andrews and the Ravens though, and for other "neutral" fans like you who'd have liked a longer shootout
