Lived through the collapse of the auto industry- 70’s Detroit. But we still had buses, libraries, a public hospital, unions funds to retrain our parents, and DC sent MORE food to pantries not less. Folks donated eyeglasses so kids could take the SAT. There was community, faith. We are so doomed.

Just anecdotally for the past 10 years I've had multiple head hunters reach out on a weekly basis and in 2021 I decided to get a new job and had 3 offers in 6 weeks. I haven't had a headhunter reach out since T took over.
