It is human trafficking.

Totally agree with this. Flying a person to a third country that they may never have been to, directly into a prison where they are going to be forced to do hard labor, is not a deportation; it's something else entirely.

It need heavy duty action...like the army or the police. And it needs to be organised rather than just isolated groups.
It is going to be tough to get enough weight going.
Trump has prisons in El Salvador !
In both cases the detention is illegal and the responsible is a felon!
Finally something Trump has experience with.
But also, all deportations are human trafficking.
The US is paying El Salvador instead of El Salvador buying them from the US
Only difference is that we won’t physically see the slavery this time.
Practice, practice, practice.
It's why they're working so hard to undermine the social safety net and crash the economy at the same time.
Don't need migrant farmers when gov't runs citizen slavery plantations.
The fact that its original intent was backdoor re-enslavement should have been reason enough decades ago.
(Pretend shock face)
I now hate my country.
but
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
😓
So many people in this admin are bragging abt their crimes as if they will never be held accountable for them. Dems need to commit to not letting that happen.
Meanwhile, DOJ is arguing that they don't have anything to do with the Enemy Aliens Act that the judge ruled they could not be deported under.
This is just one destination.
Erik Prince's Prospera EEZ in Honduras, where at least one flight of prisoners were taken from Gitmo.
This is a screaming Auschwitz dog-whistle. Zero Idleness has a truer mission statement though: a life free of all idleness in perpetuity and no suggestion the work will set you free.
THIS is not what our Country is about!
How can we condone this happening, let alone contribute to it?!?!🤬
IF YOU GUYS DONT INSIST THAT EVERYONE OF THOSE DETAINEES GETS DUE PROCESS.
YOU AREN’T GOING TO GET DUE PROCESS WHEN YOUR TURN COMES.
I’d say they are being SOLD into slavery
But we are actually BUYING them into slavery
It's also a uniquely powerful framing for tapping into the abolitionist tradition in America. "John Brown knew what to do about slavers, it's time to make him proud"

This is enslaving a marginalized people and trampling on their rights. You cannot ignore legal citizenship nor can you enslave a person who does not have said citizenship.
If you cannot abide by these rules, then you deserve any punishment you face.

The US government is engaged in human trafficking.
Let that sink in.
"persons who do not have lawful immigration status in the United States" as vulnerable individuals.

Some may be part of the violent Venezuelan gang but we don't know because there was NO due process for any of them
If Trump can get away with denying due process to some they can deny due process to anyone
I try to remind people that these people take joy in this hypocrisy. Axe murderers don't care about hypocrisy.
For better or worse judges have a lot of power
