It’s good that more and more federal judges are issuing orders blocking illegal acts by the Trump administration.
But each court victory brings us closer to the real crisis: will Trumpists yield to courts, or will they go full fascist and say they are not bound by the courts?

It can also sanction the lawyers representing the administration and bar their right to practice.

And the US were at war
Anyone wilfully violating the Constitution is not eligible for any of its protections.
His DOJ will not let Fed Marshalls enforce the court rulings. He could try what he wants legally thru his congress majority. But no-he’s got Elon 19 yr old hacker, member of Satanic Nazi Pedo club going thru

Is there a mechanism to reach SCOTUS if the losing side simply ignores the lower courts?
If SCOTUS says it's OK to ignore the lower courts, what then is the function of the judiciary? How can they expect anyone to respect their rulings?
At that point I guess SCOTUS will either accept their fate or make a final bid to deal with the face-eating leopards.
The only question is how the rest of the country will react to SCOTUS letting Trump do whatever the fuck he wants.
So just lots of political violence.
I really don't see the West Coast states, with all our tax money, military bases, and economic power, abiding this outcome.
Either Trump fascistly ignores the lower courts or we get to SCOTUS at least.
It might not save them from being put on admin leave, but it does give the federal workers a bit of a leg to stand on...
It’s admin and paper al the way down; ignore the paper and we don’t have any real tigers.
I'm reminded of a quote by Gandalf: 'Three hundred lives of men I have walked this earth and now I have no time.'
Welcome to the Turd Reich.
And there may be federal courts that will still rule against Trump, but when it gets to the Supreme Court???
Rubber stamp city, methinks.
Probably claiming executive powers or something fascist-y like that.
They’ve been screaming it for 10 years now.
We won’t know if it’s alive or dead until we open the box, but refusing to open it won’t keep it alive.
The crisis will come when America realizes the courts cannot enforce their rulings on their own
Just want to prepare for the future.

Donald Trump is a coward. He's already backpedaled on a number of issues where he's received pushback. I don't think it's at all obvious that he's got the guts to take that big step.
Another Kent State is a possibility — but that was a turning point.
One avenue of student loan debt relief was struck down by the Supreme Court, so the administration tried other *legal* tactics to offer student loan debt relief
It's also far from clear that the subsequent forgiveness tactics were legal
Here, I have one for you:

maga isn't sending their best
I have to believe even this clown car of demons understands they have more to lose than gain with that path.
I don't think the rest of the conservative majority are particularly interested in ceding all power of the judiciary to the executive and making the culmination of their careers meaningless.
People point out the corruption and bad faith of the conservative justices, but miss that it's all been to expand and entrench their own power. There aren't 5 votes on the court to give up all their power by saying that their rulings are optional.
Federal judges vs. SCOTUS coming soon. All depends on whether Trump’s justices want to hold onto their power as a co-equal branch (if they still have that option) or keep on grifting.

Spoiler: He’ll defend Trump first.
Are you hoping for some kind of revolt at the lower levels?
