I don't think the actor Earl Holliman, who just died at 96, officially came out, so I was touched to see his passing confirmed by his husband. His first screen role was in 1952; he came up when, for an actor, coming out was not difficult but impossible. He lived through things we'll never know. RIP.

They want much much more and much much worse

They’re the most celebrated gay couple in Flemish showbizz today, but coming out earlier would have *destroyed* both careers!

Stay strong! 🤗❤️
Chud wasn't even brave enough to show his homophobia on main, such an absolute disrespect to a wonderful actor and his surviving husband.
Something wrong with people who are angry because he loved a man who loved him back. Stable families are a cause for celebration.
"Because they have every right to walk the streets of Rome as safely as anyone else".
Then I had to say "No, I am not gay" several times.
I was 17.
I also had to explain why to several people, mostly men (but not all), that didn't see the need for equality.
My understanding is some of the (supposedly) homosexual men were released. But then the "new" German government just rounded them up again and put them in jail for 10 yrs, ignoring time served in the concentration camps. 🤬
He was so kind, and funny.
Different times.
Yes, Geoffrey was the "roommate" -- and sadly, they broke up over who got infected.
On the other hand, Uncle Jack was nursed in his final years by a "protegee" he met on the gay rodeo circuit. Who loved him. As did we all.
It would be nice if "humanity" were to embrace all humans, not just the ones they view as "normal". Ugh, we have a long ways to go yet.
The Forbidden Planet guy died?
I loved that guy.
It does confirm he had a husband.
I’m happy he lived so longer and with his loved one till the end, I hope he lived his last years serenely.
Good looking guy. Great age 96.
Those who made our lives today...possible.

loved that show.
Angie D was so 🔥.
I remember wanting to be like her when I finished growing up. I fell far short.
ah well....
And it breaks my heart that he had to play a role in real life. Rest in peace.
Sounds like he lived a long full life. We should all be so lucky.
I hope and pray we never know some of the things he did…
He had every right not coming out. The world is full of homophobes today, so image the 1950s. I hope he lived a full blessed life. Rest easy, Earl.
RIP
"So...what'd you do this weekend?"
"Ummmmmm...nothing. You?"
"Uh...nothing."
I can't comprehend grasping at nonsense to despise ppl who are gay
