Alstom still not able to tell us when TGV-M is going to be in revenue service. So sure, this *might* prove to be welcome, but when this is going to start to be significant is anyone's guess currently.

the unofficial liberal position on this is that trans women are welcome in womens sports if and only if they suck

Dunno how I managed to mess it up but my tomorrow YouTube video accidentally went out today... Probably meaning today's one won't be seen as much I'd be keen to hear what you think! youtu.be/0MzLTFov-MI

alright, no more joking around. butlerian jihad starts tomorrow

Amazing news for LGBT people, terrible news for "Gender Critical" "Therapists"

Another Pride banning Labour for their hateful, anti-science attacks on trans people's rights and healthcare

Everyone needs to read this. The official regulator of universities is effectively saying it’s illegal to have a policy that protects trans people from abuse. Trans people are therefore unpersons. Fair game. We know how this ends.

won’t somebody think of the childrennnn

"Wales’s 20mph speed limit has cut road deaths. Why is there still even a debate?" - really nice to see our motonormativity research being used to explain this. Cheers, @peterwalker99.bsky.social www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

I realise that to cis people, when trans people lose access to gender-affirming care, it seems like we're bitching about not getting our little treats. I have more than one friend whose body is currently falling apart because it no longer makes its own hormones and the government banned their HRT.

NHS England has just removed all guidance about changing gender + NHS number in system within the last hour. Now this link redirects to solely be about adoption. pcse.england.nhs.uk/help/patient...

We are not doing enough if Wes Streeting is still positive on this

CORRECTION: "I'm opening new Conversion Therapy clinics to torture trans kids until they are traumatised and suicidal..."

Disabled campaigners have welcomed a “fabulous” and “validating” report by MPs that calls on the government and industry to “urgently” recognise that the “regularity and severity” of public transport access failures is a human rights issue.

Wes Streeting straight up hates trans people. He is putting a lot of his time and effort into causing us as much harm and suffering as he can. This isn't just some careless ignorance, he is a true believer. A danger to trans people

Just want to point out there are a grand total of 3 gender specific universal screening programs in the UK: Cervical screening Breast screening Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening.

I hate the term "gender affirming care". I'm not getting surgery or whatever because I feel the need to be "affirmed", it's to address dysphoria. I get "affirmation" from my friends, family, colleagues etc because they're nice, normal people. But also because it gives room for this kind of bs

What's the full list of countries that have had national reviews of trans healthcare and concluded that Cass is full of shit? Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Poland, Australia and New Zealand? Any others?

I sentence you to

Let's say I'm a trans woman who has just found a suspicious lump on her breast. Does answering "male" to this question make it more or less likely that I will receive relevant advice?

Of course transphobic extremist Wes Streeting wants to instantly use the ridiculous and biased, commissioned by the Tories, "Sullivan Review" to cause as much harm to the NHS as possible This man is a danger to your health whether you are trans or not

TransActual and FGEN statement on the Sullivan Review: We reject the conclusion of a report on data collection by academic Prof Alice Sullivan as biased, inadequate & potentially harmful to all citizens of the UK, whether trans or not. Full statement: transactual.org.uk/statement-on...

Plymouth, the final frontier. These are the Voyagers of the train operator CrossCountry. Its five-hour mission: to traverse strange new rails, to seek out new delays and new cancellations, to boldly crush load where no train has gone before!

I am so here for - everything I’ve been screaming about is pretty much covered & shows just what disabled ppl are up against Vs Rail Industry. We need a clear out of the ppl who are standing in the way of progression; starting with the Rail Minister Imo. publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm5901/cm...

The government’s disability benefit cuts will have sharp knock-on effects People can receive carer's allowance, railcards and protection from the benefit cap if they get PIP These would be at risk for those losing PIP under the DWP's plans By me, for Big Issue www.bigissue.com/news/social-...

Very cool and nice of Reeves to tell us that its the overregulation of projects which is stymying growth (and caused me to be made redundant) and not, idk, the complete absence of rail projects.

The second conversation I've had THIS MORNING about large-scale redundancies being made in railway design houses... Given how insulated they usually are, this just shows how damaging this government's strangling of the rail industry is. "Growth" indeed.
