It honestly is astonishing how Trump and Elon both have built up so much hate against them that millions of people around the world just want them dead at this point. Their deaths won't solve our problems, but fuck me, it'll be a great start. They deserve all of the terrible things coming to them.
The interesting thing about Elon Musk is that he is so wealthy his death will actually solve a lot of people's problems. Basically a cascading bailout for hundreds of his creditors and their creditors.
Just so I can make sure I don't tell the creditors, what are their names and email addresses and are they more likely to not ignore my email if I don't email them at a certain time of day?
That reminds me of that joke people used to tell against lawyers. The joke went similar to "What do you call 1000 lawyers in the bottom of the ocean? A good start." I never understood that joke, because I don't hate lawyers. If someone were to replace it with Trump and Musk, I would get it then.
They’d first need a conscience to be swayed into acting right, even with violence.
However; the whole camp are also perpetually paranoid egomaniacs who would devour their acquaintances the second there’s power to grasp.
Likely scenario: they need to be pushed into ripping each other to shreds
A friend of mine wrote a novel like that last summer: billionaires keep getting assassinated and the world's first trillionaire, someone who messed with politics, is a target. ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/216105888-tetra )
- A trillionaire ruling the U.S.
- An assassin targeting the rich.
- Mass unemployment and social unrest.
- Government conspiracies, global media censorship.
- Attacks on allied countries, false flags to distract the population.
Intriguing. I am curious if this book is for sale through any other besides Amazon, any independent or local bookshop, or possibly the author themself? You see, Amazon and I are not presently speaking. I have put it into my wish list there so it doesn't get lost, but no guarantee I will go back.
The way this election will go down in history as the tipping point in the development of a widespread class consciousness and the beginning of the end of the billionaire class as an economic phenomenon 🤞🏼
I’ve frequented a few bars regularly and these last few weeks people who are comfortable, middle class standard libs are talking this way. It’s astounding tbh.
My Resist-Lib mom has become the 2nd amendment’s biggest supporter overnight. Never seen someone paint a target on themselves the way Elon has the past month. I wish him luck!*
Not a fan of the death penalty, but it was hard not to think "well, at least they're holding some of these rich fucks accountable" when the poisoned baby food thing happened
Reminder that the *only* person it’s illegal to PLAN a murder for but not carry out is the president. Musk is fair game. We can discuss it all day every day and be on the right side of the law. Unlike him.
What I said here about the Panthers goes for any armed workers' uprising. Reagan and Nixon went after them not only b/c they were black but b/c they were militant communists. They read Mao and Lenin. They tried organizing with similar white and Latino groups (e.g. Young Lords).
Marx's "under no pretext" quote (the one infamously misattributed to Reagan, ironically) resonates with the "rednecks" of Appalachia but make no mistake, that shit scares the bourgoeisie half to death. They only want the white petty bourgeoisie (aka fascism's target demo) to be armed to the teeth.
The right has successfully rebranded the Second Amendment so people only think about it when the mean “cOmMuNiSt” Democrats do anything, but yeah, some of us can read the text and still comprehend what it means, and this is exactly the situation it was describing
I mean, that's definitely not the case, but agree that it would be pretty rad if Elon wasn't a problem anymore. 2A was written to put down slave revolts, the wording State vs Nation was even debated over because free states didn't want their tax dollars going to pay for slave catchers.
That’s not really what I was saying, I just meant that the 2nd Amendment has been rebranded as a thing that’s just for conservatives to use to yell about tyranny when anyone in Congress suggests a policy that might help someone, as opposed to defending against actual coups or a tyrannical regime
They were for the fascist paramilitaries that support our nascent dictatorship, priced to keep out of the hands of the poor, kept loose and poorly supported with education to keep mass shootings going, and propagandized against by centrists so the poor would have less arms than the fascists
Kind of crazy how “would you go back and kill baby Hitler?” is a pretty mainstream philosophical question, and now Hitler is actually an adult man, billionaire, that we didn’t elect fucking around with all the levers of government…
Nah, Cheney is a monster and one of the worst that humanity has to offer, but he kept his awfulness on the dl. As far as I remember, Cheney wasn't omnipresent and annoying on social media and he didn't try to fire the entire federal service for a meme.
Nah, just calling him DICK, comparing him to Darth Vader, and calling him a war criminal. All those things are true, but congrats to Elon for being more widely hated than that guy.
Prior to 2005ish, if you even suggested the Bush 2 cabinet were war criminals who needed to be sent to the Hague outside of liberal/progressive circles (note: socialist ones basically stopped existing in the US between 1992 and 2010), you'd get death stares or maybe death threats.
So no, there weren't people outside of maybe tiny old school internet forums or anonymous imageboards saying that kind of shit unironically. Not in the Anglosphere, anyway.
Back then a lot of us were not just hoping the international criminal court or laws in general still mattered, we fully believed they did. Now that they don't, you get this.
Tho, I expect fully for him to threaten to cut funding to some crucial black money project and be assassinated by the men in black in less than a year.
I live here and a lot of people are nervous about the Elon/Trump. If you're interested in another Rochester story, a guy showed up with a mega hat and gorilla mask to a School board meeting about banning a book about a child attending a pride parade.(Penfield New York) Elon reposted libs of tiktok
It’s only a matter of time. You’d think he would know better, seeing as he likely witnessed what inciting an angry mob does growing up in South Africa, but he’s also a.) really stupid and b.) not self-aware enough to realize he’s making himself a target.
I think it's been well-established that any ideas coming from the crazy fat partridge are terrible. Any good that comes from them is purely incidental.
I'm honestly really hoping that the accelerationists turn out to be right and we just noclip backwards stair jump to the endpoint instead of having the military fire on a bunch of civilians or some Boston Massacre shit.
They'd have to have an idea of his itenerary, preferably while somewhere not as heavily surveiled as downtown DC, his security setup, and a means of bypassing or overwhelming it.
When bombers flew over London and Dresden, would you have called it murder for a shop keeper to fire a rifle up at the sky?
If not, then anyone in America shooting at Elon must surely be regarded the same: resisting the attack of a hostile force that’s trying to kill you and end your sovereignty.
Oh noooo fascism is taking over the country. People are gonna be thrown into prisons for existing. We definitely shouldn't kill the fascists. What if they decided killing fascists was illegal and threw us in prison.
Yeah, but they didn’t start a legal defense fund as a blank check for whoever did that particular crime. They started it after he was charged with the crime.
The former isn’t quite like putting a bounty on Musk’s head, but it’s really close.

I dunno -- might be slightly related. 😉
All this, penned by a time travelling former fed who tried to convince me Jets win the Super Bowl next season...which I now have to believe.
I said he should get back in time a little further and deal with Elon's parents.
Idk what it's from
The real question is if trump or Elon goes first

Who Will Kill Elon Today?
(I used to write ad copy at Ogilvy/London. I think about these things a lot.)
Who Will Kill Elon Today?
* I do not

Also off topic, I love your username
I think things are about to get pretty wild for the GOP.

He thinks he’s too white to be lynched.
If Trump was trying to boil the frog, he's failed. The frog jumped out and is now attacking the chef.
The frog is only leaning over the edge to write about its desire to attack the chef in the condensation on the side of the pot.
This will change if its butt gets scalded.
Funny how people overlook how Elon was named after a Nazi's book character. I guess it runs in the family.
He claims he is autistic so that makes him a diversity hire.

what the fuck
