As someone who went through A LOT of lamps when my cats were kittens, I'd like to suggest getting some museum putty to stick down any lamps, tchotchkes, or decor you don't want knocked over. They are cute but so destructive!
I found the combination of a cat named Theo with a coloring closer to Freya to be amusing combination, I have to admit, hence part of the reason for my repost
This is Beans when she was Theo's age. She's 9 now. If Theo, (hello beautiful Theo) is like Beans you're going to have fun. We built her a box with holes in the top and on the sides to drop furred mice into for play. (Smart Cats and so curious)
i caught Nessy kicking a partial roll of toilet paper to death the other day. πΉ There are sometimes loose rolls of TP around to clean up kitty barf. I think she was just being opportunistically playful, she leaves the stuff in the bathroom alone.
Nonetheless i have had to start leaving the bathroom door closed because Neptune likes to jump up on things & he'll also drink from the toilet if i forget to close the lid. That was never an issue with either Buddy or Nessy

Seconding the museum putty suggestion, here π
This is his late, beloved namesake. May Theo give you as much joy as this dude did our family.
However he turns out, heβs a beauty!
β¦I mean, for the next 7β12 years. He might settle down by then.
Might.
ANOTHER CAT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM SUCCESS!
Also I have to keep paper towels away from Pluto and she chews boxes paper & book covers as a matter of habit.
such a considerate murder friend!
"What's this? What's this?"
