While I assume this is some kind of meme-joke that I don't understand, because my age is now measured in geological time, I'm with you and stuck on the idea of an apartment for $500/month. Forget Massachusetts, that would be a cheap apartment in rural Oklahoma.

Deep south has cheap rent.. sometimes. Theyre catching up to everywhere else. But my old apartment started out at 550/m for a 2 bed 1 1/2 bath. Eventually went up to 750 tho, now the company is increasing by 6% each year
