Unless heavily contextualized, I'd have assumed that shirt was an attack on Trump anyways! It's not got anything to do with firefighters, and there's only one candidate with a trademark long red tie.
TBH I think the mistake here is that both sides are the same with different opinions.
When the truth is, one side is pliable and can listen to reasonable discourse and make decisions. The other side is crowning an emperor and literally mimicking his actions and thoughts.
People in my neighborhood still have signs referencing that issue and I can’t help but laugh, smile and wave at them as I walk the dog past their display.
now its "does a vice president really have the experience to run for president" as if trump wasn't a fuckin TV show host and failed businessman before running
Selling gambling to NYers should be as reliable a profit as T-bills or a liquor store in a college town.
Either he was blazingly incompetent, or skimming his partners, or too mobbed up, or his partners were skimming him (see "incompetent" and "mobbed up"),
or all of the above.
Speaking of liquor stores, good time to mention he also has a failed vodka brand. Despite that failure though, there was exactly one place on earth where people actually bought it.
So, naturally, he then sued the distributor for selling it.
Waiting for Trump to replace Vance with a bedazzled cod piece he calls “Lord Snufflecrotch” and then being called “ableist” when I point out that is batshit insane…
even with experience as president and i'm sure he'd still fuck it up. just because someone lucked in a spot doesn't mean they were ever competent at it. just like all those golden parachute CEO's that hang glide from one company to another fucking them up.
So important to note also that the only reason he was a successful TV show host was because someone had the power to edit out all the racism and rambling and racist rambling.
Trump poops his diaper while on trial for felonies, can't form a single full sentence, can't put a predicate after a noun, confuses Kamala Harris and Nikki Haley, rambles on about electrocution, shark attacks, and the Late Great Hannibal Lector, but declining mental state isn't an issue now huh
Listen we just have to listen to what the voters care about and right now that's the candidate's sexual history and whether it rises to the country's standards which is an issue for Harris only obviously
None here wanted to run for office (they still don't). It literally costs nothing to run for village board here.
I won in a landslide in 2022 after being defeated by an open Nazi in 2018 by three votes. (Nazis make crap village trustees.) He ran on being a Christian and me an atheist.
When Behind the Bastards mentioned that he was clearly a classically ADHD kid, a LOT made more sense, but also the fact that he’s still an ADHD kid emotionally is… a big ass problem.
I can't wait until they get to the part where he wrote that anti-vax article that Salon and Rolling Stone had to retract. I had a Salon subscription back then, and judging by the comments I read, it was not well received.
It cannot come from the official campaign. There’s a lot there’s a huge voter block that is old. The most reliable voting block. Attacks are different when one candidate is much younger than the other. When they’re both older it’’s different. More fair game.
and that 78-year-old slurs his speech, significantly mispronounces words, wanders chaotically in his speech, and struggles to remember the names of people -- including his family members.

The media also does this.

Or if they replace him with John Schnatter (the founder of Papa John’s), that could be fun too.
As if we haven’t had several vice presidents who became president, up to and including the current president?
Drump & Co are more pathetic by the minute.

Something is very wrong. The torches are not being passed.
I do not know the demographics of your area, but it is wrong to be led by the elderly on a national level.

"I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience,"
