Not really. They operate on the same principles: Heat + moisture = wrinkle release.
Also, many steamers, like the Rowenta I own, will let you use it in 'ironing mode" anyway, if a flat surface is warranted. Mostly, just doing it on a hangar will do the trick. (I fixed a linen jacket the other day.)
No it’s okay I’m sorry your pants are so susceptible to wrinkling, tbh Im not even a wrinkle hater my old boss used to get on my ass for having wrinkles (not on my pants though)
i don't feel forced i think it's just essential that i am hotter and better put together than everyone else so currently it's an ares that i need to improve
it's basically the only way to get flattering lighting and a flattering angle with where my mirror is 😭 i'm so hyper conscious of it but if i stand any other way here i'm shooting myself in the foot
yet again you overpaid for bells and whistles. Ay chica, without you the economy of stupid little overdesigned treats that break in a year would collapse. You just need a hot heavy hunk of metal and a spray bottle with water and a drop of lavender oil in it.
no but:
- green and red are complementary
- desaturated to not pull too much focus
- green lower half fits in w/ grass, but also a lot of subtle greens in other ground surfaces even concrete
- burgundy has effect of standing out, very few objects above waist height are naturally that colour
- it also mimics some of the undertones in caucasian skin tho
- this makes a natural progression upward that draws attention to your face
- not only is it good colour theory its good composition
i might be overthinking but not only do i wear that combo often i paint a lot of minis in that scheme
Very snappy, you're definitely ready to push a screaming toddler down the aisles at the Whole Foods—no, not the one near you, the other one that's farther because they have the good samples—while you count the minutes to the next time you can drink wine
😁😉😏
Mild. Subtle. Colors work well together. Easy to blend into a crowd. Very non-threatening civilian coded. I keep a folder of trans womens outfits to steal once I'm not in a theocratic monarchy and this is going in there. Thanks.
Just so we are absolutely clear, I have nothing against you and if it makes you (and it def made many others happy) happy that's great. But it looked like the question was serious so I responded in kind.
Basically, it's just a combination of things like a tucked in shirt (I haaaaate that personally) combined with colors I don't care for. Also I hate those kinds of pants.
It's literally just me projecting.
So if someone asks do you like it, obv I would say no.
ohhhhhhhh i need more slates and charcoals.... i have two pants that i need to take to a tailor that are both of these but their zippers are broken atm
also: while i am on team “let’s get katie a steamer,” i am also on team, “i don’t know why those docs don’t track as docs but they don’t and i like those docs”
god damn it. i gotta go buy plane tickets but after spending A Lot Of Money at costco i am not looking forward to spending A Lot Of Money on plane tickets 😭
Oh hey! I’m a cis guy, but spent a lot of my 20’s doing a more androgynous look and rocked the low pony cadet cap look with my gay homies. I… really liked all of the attention

i just got a shirt that *exact* color the other day and tbh i’m loving it more than i thought i would

Pressed pants are rogue by the way, never don't give in to their shit norms.
Skinnier pants than usual, less stanced? Katie Lankypanssy.
also you have the same mirror pose every time lmao (at least you don't do the awkward peace sign like i do)

Also wow I thought you were a lot shorter than you apparently are.
You have great proportions I am envious
I usually just wear my weird shit though
Classy and understated

Initially I responded because I thought you might like someone being truthful but now I just feel kinda mean.
It's not like you needed to know how I felt 🫠
So sorry
so sorry if this is insulting
Katie looks good, you'll look good
Fuck the haters
Usually by now I'd make a smartass joke but all that goes on hold for Feeling Good About Looking Good
