soon enough, the mere presence of black and latino students on campus will be illegal racial discrimination against white students https://www.insidehighered.com/news/diversity/race-ethnicity/2025/02/15/trump-admin-threatens-rescind-federal-funds-over-dei

"In one illustration cited in the complaint, UC Berkeley admitted 13% of Black, in-state students seeking undergraduate admission in 2010, compared with an overall 21% admission rate. By 2023, the respective admission rates were 10% and 12%, the complaint said."
They're afraid of anyone unlike their Tribe who is rising to look them in the eye.

The firing squad must be in its last stages as well.
Can somebody throw iced water on my face & head,I’ve gone into a coma! Can’t freaking wake up from this nightmare!
I’m wondering what they are thinking…? If they think white women will save them they are mistaken. Too many are married to maga.
Those of us with disabilities and chronic illnesses are on the chopping block too. What do you think the over/under is on there being some kind of an Aryan race proclamation?

To them, America was "great" when the avenues to opportunity were exclusively open to white people. For the Dems to not capitalize that Trump is backwards-looking shows just how stupid our party is.
Poor, disadvantaged and voiceless people come in all races, creeds and colors.
They are all being screwed by the current system.
Heaven forbid they would ever realize that fact and put aside their differences.
They hope we don’t notice they’re extending their power by encouraging societal division following the old adage, “divide and conquer.”
At the moment, if I say I’m headed to Target for Starbucks, I’ve already alienated half of the country.
Or if I say I listen to AM talk…
Or if I went to McDs and Walmart.
Or if I own Apple devices.
Or if it’s the Gulf of Mexico.
And on and on.
Think it was in Texas and her name was Amy. Few years ago.
If I remember correctly her grades would not have been good enough anyway to get in.
Fair is fair
This applies to Harvard and Princeton as well.
“the class of 2025, 14% of students were admitted in part because of their family ties to Yale.”

Maybe they’ll keep Department of Education alive just for that.
Any HBCU
The United Negro College Fund
The Tom Joyner Foundation
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities
Hispanic Scholarship Fund
I found the above with a Google search. Feel free to edit.
And, that was a crime, last I checked.
I’m going to be repeating that for the crowds forever.
Also, fuck them.
There is a timeline for compliance by 2/28.
The implications are shattering.
It will literally be now or never. Here’s the whole letter:

The amount of homeless, poverty, destitute and impoverished Americans about to hit the streets is going to be Sad and a rude awakening for MAGAs voting against their own interests in the name of Anti-Black racism.

Schools. This is the cause of American decline this myth of white supremacy. I hate to say it but the best in your society are being left behind for the privladged children of generational thieves.
Make campuses unfriendly to students of color.
My university demographic has dramatically shifted over the last decade and a large chunk of the enrolled students are brown.

Some private schools are trying to attract a more diverse student body. Some offer decent financial aid packages. Many of those students have paid internships. I've visited a small private school, recently. It has many international students. Many private schools push for study abroad.
Large universities are not for all, especially for 2e students. Smaller colleges are better able to offer a better environment for some.
There is also so much more competition for job internships.
Pros and cons.
Yes, eliminating affirmative action is horrible. No, it absolutely does NOT mean literally all students of color merely being *present* would constitute "illegal racial discrimination."
This is batshit.
The Trump admin would literally have to violate the law millions of times to pursue this racist insanity.
Again, it is 100% illegal to bar college students based on race, gender, religion, etc. Trump can't change that.
A college that simply decided to stop offering admission to all Black or female applicants would absolutely be sued – and lose. A LOT.
It's irrelevant whether *he* cares about the law. The important part is that others still do.
We all hope the courts will be enough.
We all need to keep fighting.
We just can't be so confident and certain.

He understands perfectly, but counts on the ability of institutionalists to shout "GOOD FAITH" over his screeching racism.
Because those students just don't meet the high standards of their "meritocracy" of course.
No other reason at all.
That being said, A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn should be mandatory reading for all high school students.
Sure, any non white voters for Trump are both shocking and disappointing, but they're just fringe numbers. Blaming them is absolving responsibility from the people who are the real problem.

We are all ONE human species, NO ONE is entitled to preference based on anything but skill or ability. And that falls both ways here.
What they really mean is that they can't compete on a level playing field.
