I actually said “oh hell yeah” out loud when he came in and told the other receptionists that I would get him weighed and checked in. Big Boy brightened my day
Doesn't look all that much like a Maine Coon cat (facial structure isn't right) but I'd be testing that cat for acromegaly/hypersomatotropism. And heart disease.
Also, I am super curious about his demeanor!
He looks very chill in the photo. Is he used to being lugged around like that?
I seriously need to pet that kitty. 😁🐾
He’s old and pretty mellow! He was very nice while I was getting him set up for the doctor and checked in. They have to carry him because he doesn’t fit in any cat carriers LOL
At only three one of our Maine Coons is well on her way to ending up that size and when I’m not ill, most mornings I pick her up and hold her on her back to have her chin and tummy rubbed and she loves it (and also lets you know both when she is done and if you put her down too soon)
😂😂 Sorry, i was reading about fancy IT-Offices that claimed to be cool and „good place
to work bla bla“ stuff today, so my brain tricked me into this environment.
My family had a short-haired orange cat that weighed 25 lbs. at his peak - as much as my then - 6 m.o. niece! Spike made it to 17, and he was a tank right up to the end.
(I also had a cat named Zeek once - I kept the spelling b/c that was how NYCHS spelled it and it was the perfect name for him.)

Did you go face first into the fluff?
